Implementasi Application Programming Interface (API) Dalam Upaya Peningkatan Pengelolaan dan Pelayanan Informasi Publik Pada Kantor KPU Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan

Abstract

This thesis discusses the implementation of API to improve the quality of public information services at the General Election Commission Office as the Election Organizing Body. This research is motivated by the phenomenon of public ignorance of non-transparent data access in the activities of South Tapanuli Regency KPU and in the stages of election stages so that the decreasing level of public participation in the election and many people who do not understand the duties of the KPU in the implementation of the election. The subject matter discussed in this research is to explain how the public information application system is managed by the KPU in applying the principles of data and information disclosure to the election process in order to realize democratic elections. Based on the results of analysis and discussion of this research is a qualitative research method that is a way of analyzing, interpreting, clarifying the data so as to provide an overview of the author as a series of activities to run information related to problem solving both from a theoretical and practical point of view.
