Abstract: Steam generating systems are essential for the palm kernel processing industry, in addition to being used for electricity generation, also used in palm kernel processing. In the vapor distribution process from boiler to steam turbine there is heat loss and head loss caused by heat transfer and also friction on steam installation pipe. Total heat loss (heat loss) is 4953729,447 W and the loss of pressure (head loss) of 0.3095 m.
Description: Sistem pembangkit tenaga uap sangat penting bagi industri pengolahan biji kelapa sawit, selain digunakan untuk menghasilkan listrik, juga digunakan dalam proses pengolahan biji kelapa sawit. Pada proses distribusi uap dari ketel uap ke turbin uap terjadi kerugian panas (heat loss) dan kerugian tekanan (head loss) yang diakibatkan perpindahan panas dan juga gesekan pada pipa instalasi uap. Total kerugian panas (heat loss) adalah sebesar 4953729,447 W dan kerugian tekanan (head loss) sebesar 0,3095 m.
