Abstract: Optimis Sarumaha 138210030, growth and production of cucumber (cucumis sativus L) with bocassion application of tea and mycorrhiza, under the guidance of Dr. Ir. Syahbudin Hasibuan, M. Si as chairman of the advisory commission and Dr. Ir. Suswati, MP as member of the advisory commission. This study aims to determine whether bokasi application of tea dregs and mycorrhizal give a positive influence on the growth and production of cucumber plants. This research was conducted in Experimental Garden of Faculty of Agriculture, University of Medan Area, located at No. Pond Street. 1 Medan Estate, Perci Sei Tuan District with a height of approximately 25 m above sea level. This research was conducted from March to June 2017. This research was conducted by using Randomized Block Design (RAK) Factorial with 2 factors of acknowledgment. The first factor was bocation of tea dregs consisting of 4 dosage levels ie B0 = No tea batches (control), B1 = 10 ton / ha (1000 g / Plot), B2 = 20 ton / ha (2000 g / Plot), B3 = 30 tons / ha (3000 g / plot). The second factor is the mycorrhizas consisting of 4 levels ie M0 = Without mycorrhizal (control), M1 = Mikoriza5 g / plant, M2 = Mycorrhizal 10 g / plant, M3 = Mikoriza15 g / plant. The results of this study indicate that bocation treatment of tea dregs has significant effect on diameter of stem, number of fruit, fruit diameter, fruit production weight per sample, and fruit production weight per plot. Mycorrhizal treatment significantly affected the number of leaves, the weight of fruit production per sample, and the weight of fruit production per plot. Giving combination between bokasi of tea dregs and mycorrhiza had a significant effect on fruit length, fruit diameter, fruit production weight per sample, and fruit production weight per plot

Syahbudin Hasibuan, M.Si sebagai ketua komisi pembimbing dan Dr. Ir. Suswati, MP sebagai anggota komisi pembimbing. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah aplikasi bokasi ampas teh dan mikoriza memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman mentimun. Penelitian ini di lakukan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Medan Area yang berlokasi di jalan kolam No. 1 Medan Estate, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan dengan ketinggian tempat kira-kira 25 m dari permukaan laut. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai bulan maret sampai dengan juni 2017.Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan 2 faktor perakuan. Faktor pertama adalah bokasi ampas teh yang terdiri dari 4 taraf dosis yaitu B0 = Tanpa bokasi ampas teh (kontrol), B1 = 10 ton/ha (1000 g / Plot), B2 = 20 ton/ha (2000 g / Plot), B3 = 30 ton/ha (3000 g / Plot). Faktor kedua yaitu mikoriza yang terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu M0 = Tanpa mikoriza (kontrol), M1 = Mikoriza5 g / tanaman, M2 = Mikoriza10 g / tanaman, M3 = Mikoriza15 g / tanaman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan bokasi ampas teh berpengaruh nyata diameter batang, jumlah buah, diameter buah, bobot produksi buah per sampel, dan bobot produksi buah per plot. Perlakuan mikoriza berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah daun, bobot produksi buah per sampel, dan bobot produksi buah per plot. Pemberian kombinasi antara bokasi ampas teh dan mikoriza berpengaruh nyata terhadap panjang buah, diameter buah, bobot produksi buah per sampel, dan bobot produksi buah per plot
