Pengaruh Stress Kerja dan Lingkungan Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan pada PT Central Proteina Prima Tbk. Medan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Work Stress and Work Environment on Employee Performance at PT Central Proteina Prima Tbk. Field. The type of this research is associative is a research that is asking the relationship between two variables. The population in this research is all employees of PT Central Proteina Prima Tbk. As many as 60 people. And by using the saturated sample technique, the sample size in this study as many as 60 employees taken from the entire population. Based on the result of t test can be seen that t arithmetic on job stress variable equal to 11,065 bigger than t table equal to 2,000 with probability t that is sig 0.000 smaller than limit of significance equal to 0,005. Based on these values, the work stress variable has a positive and significant effect on the performance variable. And t value of work environment count equal to -3.032 smaller than t table equal to 2.000 with sig 0,004 smaller than limit of significance equal to 0,005, then work environment variable by parsial have negative and significant influence to performance variable. Based on the result of F test, it is obtained Fcount of 72.859 bigger than Ftable equal to 3,20 with sig 0,000 <0,05, show Ho rejected and Ha accepted, mean work stress and work environment simultaneously have positive and significant influence to performance variable . The value of R Square obtained is 0.719. To see the great influence of independent variables on dependent variable by calculating the coefficient of determination (KD) = R2 x 100%, so obtained KD = 76.4%. This figure shows that 71.9% performance (dependent variable) can be explained by work stress and work environment. The remaining 28.1% is influenced by other factors not described in this study
