Perbedaan Privasi Pada Remaja ditinjau Dari BIG Five Personality di Universitas TJUT Nyak Dien Medan

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the difference of privacy in adolecent, viewed from the types of Big Five Personality Test. Privacy is a person’s desire to interact or avoid the involvement of others. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a difference of privacy in terms of the Big Five Personality Type. The sample of this study amounted to 150 students who enrolled in the Faculty of Pharmacy in Tjut Nyak Dhien University. To the respondents are given two scale of privacy scale that aims to see how high Privacy and Big Five scale aims to determine the personality trends owned by respondents. Data analysis technique used in this study is Analysis of One Way Variance. From result of analysis of variance of this one lane yield 1). There are significant differences of privacy among adolescents with personality type Neuroticism, Concientiousness, Extraversion, Openness to Experiences, Agreeableness with coefficient F = 5,436 with P <0,05. 2) based on data analysis it is known that the Empirical Mean of Privacy on Neuroticism is 17.24, Privacy on Conciousiousness of 11.27, Privacy on Extraversion of 11.32, Privacy on Openness to Experiences of 10.12 and Privacy on Agreeableness of 12.61 . So it can be concluded that the Personality Neuroticism type has a higher level of Privacy than the others Personality Agreebleness, Concientiousness, Extraversion and Openness to Experiences. 3) the level of Privacy to Students at the Faculty of Pharmacy Tjut Nyak Dhien University is quite high because it has a mean Hypothetical 12 is smaller than the Empirical Mean and exceeds one element of SD is 4.269
