This study aimed to look at the relationship between self-control and cross-discipline, where the subjects of this study were students of the Faculty of Psychology of Medan Area University, which consisted of 95 people. Based on the theoretical studies contained in Chapter II, a hypo, research thesis is proposed that reads: There is a positive relationship between self-control and cross-discipline. This means that the higher the self-control, the higher the discipline passes across, on the contrary, the lower the self-control, the lower the discipline passes across. Self-control and cross-discipline passes in this study were revealed using a Likert scale with 4 answer choices. The data analysis method used in this study is Product Moment Correlation, where based on data analysis the following results were obtained: I). There is a very positive relationship between self-control and discipline. This result is evidenced by the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.367; p < 0.010. The higher the self-control, the higher the passing discipline, and conversely the lower the self-control, the lower the discipline of passing the cross. By analogy, the hypotheses that have been proposed in this study are accepted. 2). That self-control contributed 13.5% to cross-discipline. From this result, it is known that there is still an 86.5% influence of other factors on the discipline of passing, where other factors were not considered in this study, among which are obedience, obedience, loyalty, regularity, order, commitment, and consistency. In addition, from this study it is known that the students' self-control is classified as moderate, because the empirical mean (62,157) difference with the hypothetical mean score (55) does not exceed the SD or SB number, which is 8,599. Then the discipline passed among the students was also classified as moderate, because the difference between the empirical mean score (65.305) with the hypothetical average score (57.5) did not exceed the SD or SB number, which is 10.279.
