Abstract: Bendung Sei Padang D.I. Bajayu terletak di daerah aliran sungai (DAS) Padang Tebing Tinggi Sumatera Utara yang direncanakan untuk kebutuhan pertanian masyarakat setempat. Bendung Sei Padang D.I. Bajayu direncanakan dengan struktur yang tahan terhadap gaya geser, gaya guling dan stabilitas daya dukung tanah baik dalam kondisi normal dan banjir agar bangunan bendung tetap aman saat kondisi banjir dan normal. Dari hasil perhitungan analisis diperoleh faktor keamanan pada saat normal gaya guling adalah 1,73, faktor keamanan gaya geser adalah 2,54 dan pada saat banjir gaya guling adalah 1,42 dan faktor keamanan gaya geser adalah 2,80 serta daya dukung tanah saat kondisi banjir dan normal 41,20. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan tersebut maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa bendung aman terhadap gaya guling, gaya geser dan daya dukung tanah. Dam Sei Padang D.I. Bajayu is located in the Padang Tebing Tinggi river basin (DAS) of North Sumatra which is planned for the agricultural needs of the local community. Dam Sei Padang D.I. Bajayu is planned with a structure that is resistant to shear forces, overturning forces and soil carrying capacity stability both under normal and flood conditions so that the weir remains safe during flood and normal conditions. From the results of the analysis calculation, it is obtained that the factor of safety at normal times of overturning force is 1.73, the factor of safety for shear force is 2.54 and during floods the overturning force is 1.42 and the factor of safety for shear force is 2.80 as well as the carrying capacity of the soil when the conditions flooding and normal 41.20. Based on the results of these calculations, it can be concluded that the weir is safe against overturning forces, shearing forces and soil bearing capacity.
