Abstract: Persimpangan merupakan jalinan jalan yang memiliki kedudukan penting dan kritis dalam mengatur arus lalulintas. Bagaimana karakteristik lalu lintas dan kinerja simpang bersinyal di jalan simpang Jl. H.Adam malik – Jl. Bambu II dalam melayani lalu lintas yang ada menggunakan software Vissim1. Lokasi penelitian berada di Jl. H.Adam Malik – Jl. Bambu II3. Perhitungan, Analisa, dan pembahasan menggunakan software vissim.Maksud dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis simpang bersinyal pada ruas jalan Jl. H. Adam Malik – Jl. Bambu II menggunakan software vissim. Pengambilan data volume lalu lintas dilakukan selama 1 hari mulai pukul 07.00 – 18.00 dengan interval waktu 120 menit. Data data hasil survei di lapangan dikumpulkan kemudian diolah, kemudian akan diperoleh hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian tersebut akan menjelaskan analisis sistem perempatan. Prosedur yang digunakan untuk perhitungan waktu sinyal, kapasitas dan tingkat kinerja perempatan sesuai dengan Paduan Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (PKJI 2014) Berdasarkan perhitungan nilai tundaan rata-rata setiap pendekat maka didapat nilai tundaan sebesar 15,3186 (detik/smp) dengan tingat pelayanan C. Untuk perancangan dan perencanan disarankan POL ≤ 15% untuk operasi suatu nilai POL 5% - 10% mungkin dapat diterima.derajat kejenuhan (DS) diperoleh hasil arus DS 0,720.Kapasitas (C) diperoleh C=2354,61 smp/jam Arus lalu lintas. Arus lalu lintas jam puncak terjadi pada hari Senin jam sore yaitu pukul 17:00 - 18:00 dengan data kendaraan ringan jumlah kendaraan (LV) 1256 dengan arus 1256 smp/jam. Traffic volume data is collected for 1 day from 07.00 – 18.00 with a time interval of 120 minutes. Data from the survey results in the field is collected and then processed, then the research results will be obtained. The results of the study will explain the analysis of the placement system. Procedure used for the calculation of signal time, capacity and level of positioning performance according to the Indonesian Road Capacity Report (PKJI 2014) Based on the calculations of the average delay value of each approach then obtained a delay rate of 15,3186 (seconds/smp) with the level of service C. For planning and planning recommended POL ≤ 15% for operation a POL value of 5% - 10% may be acceptable.saturation degree (DS) obtained current result DS 0.720.Capacity (C) obtained C=2354,61 smp/hour Traffic flow.
