dc.description.abstractBenih padi unggul merupakan salah satu faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap hasil panen, maka dari itu perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk pengeringan benih padi sehingga benih padi yang dikeringkan akan menghilangan kandungan kadar air. Sedangkan kandungan kadar air benih padi pada saat panen yaitu berkisar antara 22%-25%, dan untuk dijadikan benih unggul kandungan kadar air berkisar antara 11%-13% baru bisa dijadikan benih dan dapat disimpan lama. Dari pengujian yang telah dilakukan dengan objek benih padi yang berat awalnya 50 kg yang harus diturunkan menjadi 45 kg membutuhkan waktu pengujian selama 1 Jam. Jadi pengeringan menggunakan alat lebih efesien dari segi penggunaan waktu hal ini terbukti dengan pengujian yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya. Adapun temperatur rata-rata yang dicapai dengan menggunakan alat pengering tenaga surya adalah 44C Superior rice seeds are one of the factors that affect crop yields, therefore further research needs to be done for drying rice seeds so that the dried rice seeds will remove the moisture content. While the moisture content of rice seeds at harvest time is in the range of 22%-25%, and to be used as superior seeds the moisture content ranges from 11%-13% and can only be used as seeds and can be stored for a long time. From the tests that have been carried out with the object of rice seeds whose initial weight is 50 kg which must be reduced to 45 kg requires 1 hour of testing time. So drying using the tool is more efficient in terms of the use of time this is proven by tests that have been done before. The average temperature achieved by using a solar dryer is 44C.en_US
