Abstract: PT. Ukindo Blankahan Oil Mill merupakan perusahaan bergerak di bidang minyak kelapa sawit (CPO) yang berkapasitas 45 ton, Untuk mampu bersaing dengan perusahaan lain yang bergerak dalam bidang yang sama dan memenuhi standar kualitas CPO untuk dipasarkan, maka PT. Ukindo Blankahan Oil Mill harus menghasilkan produk CPO yang berkualitas. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan memiliki standar mutu minyak kelapa sawit dengan nilai ambang batas Asam Lemak Bebas (ALB) 3,0% dengan sesuai perjanjian perusahaan, penetapan standar ini bertujuan untuk mengantisipasi agar tidak melebihi standar Nasional yakni sebesar 5%. Namun pada kenyataannya pada produksi CPO masih terdapat ALB yang melewati batas standar perusahaan. Pada bulan agustus 2020 PT Ukindo Blankahan Oil Mill mendapati kadar ALB yang tinggi yakni sebesar 4,0%. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini dengan mencari masalahnya, proses mencari masalahnya menggunakan metode seven tools dengan pengolahan data terdiri dari alb,kadar air dan kadar kotoran, sehingga mendapatkan kesimpulan Parameter jenis penyimpangan mutu produk Crude Palm Oil (CPO) terbesar terdapat pada kadar kotoran total penyimpangan mutu sebesar 112 unit sampel (55,45%), diikuti oleh kerusakan kadar air sebesar 75 unit sampel (37,13%) dan yang terkecil yaitu pada kadar asam lemak bebas yaitu sebesar 15 kerusakan (7,43%). Berdasarkan diagram pareto maka jenis penyimpangan mutu yang diteliti adalah pada kadar kotoran dan kadar air dimana jumlah persentase kumulatif mencapai 92,57%. Perbaikan kualitas yang diberikan dilakukan dengan menerapkan pemecahan masalah dengan menentukan prioritas masalah berdasarkan diagram sebab akibat (Cause And Effect Diagram) yaitu pada perbaikan di pada operator dan mesin. Perencanaan perbaikan mutu tersebut adalah pembuatan SOP vacuum dyer dan vibrating screen. PT. Ukindo Blankahan Oil Mill is a company operating in the oil sector palm oil (CPO) with a capacity of 45 tonnes, to be able to compete with other companies that operate in the same field and meet the standards quality CPO to be marketed, then PT. Ukindo Blankahan Oil Mill must produce quality CPO products. Therefore, the company has Palm oil quality standards with Free Fatty Acid threshold values (ALB) 3.0% in accordance with the company agreement, this standard setting aims to anticipate that it does not exceed the National standard of 5%. However, in reality, in CPO production there is still ALB passing through company standard limits. In August 2020 PT Ukindo Blankahan Oil Mill found high ALB levels, namely 4.0%. As for the research objectives This is by looking for the problem, the process of finding the problem using methods seven tools with data processing consisting of alb, water content and dirt content, so as to obtain conclusions about the parameters of the type of product quality deviation The largest Crude Palm Oil (CPO) content is found in the total deviation of impurities quality was 112 sample units (55.45%), followed by damage to water content of 75 sample units (37.13%) and the smallest is the free fatty acid content, namely amounting to 15 damage (7.43%). Based on the Pareto diagram, the types The quality deviations studied were the dirt content and water content the cumulative percentage reached 92.57%. Quality improvements provided This is done by implementing problem solving by determining priorities problems based on a cause and effect diagram (Cause And Effect Diagram), namely at improvements to operators and machines. The quality improvement planning is making SOPs for vacuum dyers and vibrating screens.
