Abstract: Kemajuan teknologi yang semakin pesat, mendorong manusia, khususnya mahasiswa untuk meningkatkan kemampuan adaptabilitas karir, agar dapat bersaing dan berhasil dalam mengembangkan karir di masa depan, Akan tetapi kemampuan menyesuaikan diri di dalam karir yang dijalani itu ditentukan oleh bagaimana persepsi individu mengenai karakter, atau atribut dan potensi yang dimiliki mahasiswa. Penelitian yang membahas tentang hal ini, masih sangat terbatas, oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara positive youth development dengan adaptabilitas karir mahasiswa. Dalam penelitian ini pengumpulan data menggunakan skala psikologi. Positive Youth Develoment di ukur dengan Positive Youth Develoment scale, dan adaptabilitas karir diukur dengan Career Adapt-ability scale Indonesian form. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 286 orang mahasiswa Psikologi Universitas Medan Area stambuk 2019, dengan Teknik pengambilan sampel total sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah korelasi product momen pearson dengan bantuan SPSS ver. 20 for Windows. Adapun hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang positif antara positive youth development dengan adaptabilitas karir mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan koefisien korelasi rxy sebesar 0.732, dengan signifikansi p= 0,00 < 0,05, artinya ada hubungan positif antara positive youth development dengan adaptabilitas karir mahasiswa, semakin tinggi positive youth development maka semakin tinggi pula adaptabilitas karir mahasiswa. Technological advances are increasingly rapid, encouraging people, especially students to improve their career adaptability skills, so they can compete and be successful in developing careers in the future. However, the ability to adapt in a career that is undertaken is determined by how the individual perceives the character, or attributes and potential of a student. Research discussing this matter is still very limited, therefore this study aims to determine the relationship between positive youth development and career adaptability of students. In this study, data collection used a psychological scale. Positive Youth Development is measured by the Positive Youth Development scale, and career adaptability is measured by the Career Adapt-ability scale Indonesian form. The subjects in this study were 286 Psychology students at the University of Medan Area in 2019, using the total sampling technique. The data analysis used in this study is the Pearson product moment correlation with the help of SPSS ver. 20 for Windows. The hypothesis put forward in this study is that there is a positive relationship between positive youth development and student career adaptability. The results of this study show a correlation coefficient of rxy of 0.732, with a significance of p = 0.00 <0.05, meaning that there is a positive relationship between positive youth development and student career adaptability, the higher the PYD, the higher the career adaptability of students.
