Abstract: Dalam kehidupan era globalisasi ini, penggunaan Mesin pemindah bahan sangat diperlukan mencakup hamper segala bidang kegiatan industry khususnya. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan yang beraneka ragam tersebut, makajenis dan ukuran Mesin Pemindah Bahan ini harus beraneka ragam, sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan pemakaian. Agar dapat menangani komponen-komponen tersebut diperlukan pengetahuan yang memadai dan terperinci, terutama dalam pemilihan, pengoperasian dan perawatannya. Penulisan analisa ini didasarkan pada kebutuhan pada perusahaan,PTPN PG Sei Semayang yang telah menggunakan mesin pemindah bahan. Agar kebutuhan terpenuhi, maka dimensi komponen utama mesin pemindah bahan tersebut harus disesuaikan terlebih dahulu dengan mengetahui besar kapasitas. Dan bentuk prinsip kerja dari motor penggerak mesin pemindah bahan dapat diketahui pemilihan kapasitasnya, maka dapat ditentukan pemilihan dan perhitungan tali, puli, drum, kait, roda gigi hoisting, rem, roda jalan (transverse), rel lintasan dan lainnya. Dasar-dasar perancangan komponen utama mesm pemindah bahan ini merupakan bahagian utama dari prinsip kerja mesin pemindah bahan yang harus diketahui kapasitasnya. Sehingga diketahui ukuran-ukurannya yang didapat dari hasil perhitungan analisa motor penggerak mesin pemindah bahan. In the life of this globalization era, the use of material transfer machines It is very necessary to cover almost all areas of industrial activity in particular. To meet these diverse needs, the types and the size of this Material Transfer Machine must be various, according to need and usage. In order to be able to handle these components adequate and detailed knowledge is required, especially in the selection, operation and maintenance. Writing this analysis is based on the needs of the company, PTPN PG Sei Semayang who has used a material transfer machine. So that needs are met, then the dimensions of the main components of the material transfer machine must be adjusted in advance by knowing the capacity. And the working principle of the material transfer engine drive motor can be If the selection of capacity is known, then the selection and can be determined calculation of ropes, pulleys, drums, hooks, hoisting gears, brakes, transverse wheels, track rails and others. Fundamentals of designing the main components of this material transfer machine is the main part of the working principle of the material transfer machine that must be known capacity. So it is known the sizes obtained from the results of the calculation of the analysis of the motor driving the material transfer machine.
