dc.description.abstractTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan komunikasi antarpribadi dalam meningkatkan hubungan kerja pegawai dan untuk mengetahui faktor penghambat komunikasi antarpribadi dalam meningkatkan hubungan kerja pegawai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kantor Irigasi dan Rawa – III Padang Sidempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi antarpribadi dalam meningkatkan hubungan kerja pegawai meliput, keterbukaan, empati, sikap mendukung, sikap positif, kesetaraan. Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa dalam meningkatkan hubungan kerja pegawai dibutuhkan indikator tersebut untuk menjalin hubungan kerja antar pegawai. Adapun yang menjadi faktor penghambat komunikasi dalam meningkatkan hubungan kerja, seperti halnya perbedaan usia, persepsi, pra sarana, penguasaan teknologi. The purpose of this research is to describe interpersonal communication in improving employee working relationships and to find out the inhibiting factors of interpersonal communication in improving employee working relationships. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, documentation. This research was conducted at the Irrigation and Swamp Office – III Padang Sidempuan. The results of the study show that interpersonal communication in improving employee work relations includes, openness, empathy, supportive attitude, positive attitude, equality. The researcher concluded that in improving employee working relationships, these indicators are needed to establish working relationships between employees. As for the inhibiting factors of communication in improving work relations, such as age differences, perceptions, infrastructure, mastery of technology.en_US
