Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara locus of control internal dengan stres kerja pada sopir PT. Pratama Makmur Jaya. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sopir bus PT. Pratama Makmur Jaya berjumlah 40 orang, dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh populasi yaitu berjumlah 40 orang, teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik total sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan skala Locus Of Control Internal dan Stres Kerja yang diukur dengan menggunakan bentuk skala Likert. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara locus of control internal dengan stres kerja pada sopir PT. Pratama Makmur Jaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai signifikansi korelasi p = 0,000 < 0,05, artinya ada hubungan negatif antara locus of control internal dengan stres kerja pada sopir PT. Pratama Makmur Jaya, dimana rxy = -0,580 dengan kontribusi sebesar 33,6%. Dengan kata lain, hipotesis dapat diterima. Stres kerja tergolong tinggi ( mean hipotetik = 62,5 < mean empirik = 70,11 dimana selisihnya tidak melebihi dari bilangan SD = 6,433 ), dan untuk locus of control internal tergolong rendah ( mean hipotetik = 70 < mean empirik = 58,10 dimana selisihnya melebihi bilangan SD 6,759). This study aims to determine the correlation between the internal locus of control and work stress in PT bus drivers. Pratama Makmur Jaya. This research method uses quantitative methods. The population in this study was a PT bus drivers. Pratama Makmur Jaya numbered 40 people, and the sample in this study was the entire population of 40 people, the sampling technique in this study used the total sampling technique. The data collection method in this study used the Internal Locus Of Control and Work Stress scales which were measured using the Likert scale form. The data analysis technique uses the Pearson Product Moment correlation technique. Based on the results of data analysis, it shows that there is a significant correlation between the internal locus of control and work stress in PT bus drivers Pratama Makmur Jaya. The results showed a correlation significance value p = 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that there was a negative correlation between the internal locus of control and work stress in the PT bus drivers. Pratama Makmur Jaya, where rxy = - 0,580 with a contribution of 33.6%. In other words, hypotheses are acceptable. Work stress is classified as high ( hypothetical mean = 62.5 < empirical mean = 70.11 where the difference does not exceed the SD number = 6,433 ), and for the internal locus of control is classified as low ( hypothetical mean = 70 < empirical mean = 58.10 where the difference exceeds the SD number 6,759).
