Abstract: Pengujian impak merupakan suatu pengujian untuk mengukur ketahanan bahan terhadap beban kejut. Pengujian impak mensimulasikan kondisi operasi material yang sering ditemui dimana beban tidak selamanya terjadi secara perlahan-lahan melainkan datang secara tiba-tiba. Alat uji impak yang akan dirancang dalam penelitian ini merupakan alat uji impak anak panah jatuh bebas. Alat uji impak ini memanfaatkan massa benda serta gaya gravitasi. Perancangan alat uji impak anak panah jatuh bebas, desain rancangan mengacu pada standar ASTM D 1709 / ISO 7765-1. Dalam penelitian ini rancangan alat uji impak dianalisis kekuatan sambungan serta defleksi (kelenturan) konstruksi untuk memastikan hasil perancangan alat uji impak anak panah jatuh bebas. Impact testing is a test to measure the resistance of materials to shock loads. Impact testing simulates the operating conditions of the material that are often encountered where the load does not always occur slowly but comes suddenly. The impact test equipment that will be designed in this study is an impact test tool for free-falling arrows. This impact test tool utilizes the mass of the object and the force of gravity. The design of the free fall arrow impact test equipment, the design refers to the ASTM D 1709 / ISO 7765-1 standard. In this study, the design of the impact test equipment was analyzed for joint strength and construction deflection to ensure the results of the design of the free fall arrow impact test equipment.
