Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self efficacy dengan stres kerja pada guru SLB di kota Medan. Menggunakan tipe penelitian kuantitatif korelasional, penelitian ini melibatkan 35 orang guru yang mengajar di SLB Negeri Autis Medan dan Smart Aurica School. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik total sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala self efficacy dan skala stres kerja. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi product moment dari Karl Pearson. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan koefisien korelasi rxy=-0,609 dengan nilai signifikansi p = 0,000 < 0,05 artinya ada hubungan negative antara self efficacy dengan stres kerja. Dengan hasil tersebut, hipotesis dalam penelitian ini dapat diterima. Adapun sumbangan efektif dari self efficacy mempengaruhi stres kerja sebesar 37,1%. Adapun faktor lainnya sebesar 62,9% seperti kondisi kerja, ambiguitas dalam menempatkan peran, factor interpersonal, perkembangan karir dan struktur organisasi. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan secara hipotetik dan empirik, self efficacy tergolong sedang sebab nilai rata-rata dari self efficacy 57,5 lebih besar dari nilai rata-rata empirik 56,06 dan stres kerja tergolong tinggi sebab nilai rata-rata hipotetik 95 lebih kecil dari nilai rata-rata empirik 103,80. This research aimed to know correlation between self-efficacy and work stress for special school teachers in Medan City. The subjects of this research is the same as the total population is 35 teachers who teach at SLB Negeri Autism Medan and Smart Aurica School. There are 23 teachers teaching at SLB Negeri Autism Medan and 12 teachers teaching at Smart Aurica School. The sample data collection technique is to use total sampling. This research instrument uses a self-efficacy scale and a work stress scale. The data analysis technique used is the product moment correlation of Karl Pearson. The results of this study indicate the correlation coefficient rxy = -0.609 with a significance value of p = 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that there is a negative relationship between self-efficacy and work stress. With these results, the hypothesis in this study is accepted. The effective contribution of self-efficacy affects work stress by 37.1%. as for other factors of 62,9% such as working conditions, ambiguity in placing roles, interpersonal factors, career development and organizational. Based on the result of hypothetical and empirical calculations, self efficacy is classified as moderate because the average value of self efficacy is 57,2 greater than the empirical average value 56,06 and work stress is high because the average hypothetical value is 95 less than the empirical average 103,80.
