Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode bercerita dan metode bermain peran terhaap kemampuan berbicara anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK Swasta Plus Darul Ilmi Murni. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan rancangan quasi eksperimen dan menggunakan model design time series, yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran metode bercerita dan metode bermain peran terhadap kemampuan berbicara anak. Pengujian hipotesis yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang dilakukan diperoleh hasil penelitian sebagai berikut (a) ada pengaruh pembelajaran metode bercerita terhadap kemampuan berbicara anak dengan perolehan nilai pretes setelah diberikan perlakuan metode bercerita dalam nilai rata- rata keseluruhan subjek di kelas Al-Mulk terlihat pre test skor rata-rata 50,78 dan post test skor rata-rata 62,79 sehingga perbandingan nilai skor adalah 12,01. (b) ada pengaruh pembelajaran metode bermain peranterhadap kemampuan berbicara anak dengan perolehan nilai pretest setelah diberikan perlakuan metode bermain peran dalam nilai rata- rata keseluruhan subjek di kelas Ar-Rahman terlihat pre test skor rata-rata 50,59 dan post test skor rata-rata 57,79 sehingga perbandingan nilai skor adalah 7,2. Dan (c) berdasarkan peningkatan rata-rata nilai pretes dan posttest ternyata metode bercerita menunjukkan perbedaan yang jauh dibandingkan rata-rata nilai pretes dan posttes kelas yang menerapkan metode bermain peran. Sedangkan hasil uji hepotesis kedua metode tersebut menunjukkan hasil yang signifikan, yaitu (a). Perbedaan Pretest dan Posttest mendapatkan nilai Z hitung -3.517 dengan p value (Asymp sig 2 tailed): 0,000<0,05 maka terima H1 yang berarti ada perbedaan bermakna atau signifikan untuk kelas yang menerapkan bermain peran. (b) Perbedaan Pretest dan Posttest mendapatkan nilai Z hitung -3.517 dengan p value (Asymp sig 2 tailed): 0,000<0,05 maka terima H1 yang berarti ada perbedaan bermakna atau signifikan. This research aims to determine the effect of the story telling method and the role playing method on the speaking ability of children aged 5 – 6 years in TK Swasta Plus Darul Ilmi Murni. This research was a quasi experimental research design and uses a time series design model, namely to determine the effect of learning story telling methods and role playing methods on children’s speaking skill. This hypothesis testing was carried out using the wilcoxon signed rank test. Based on the result of the analysis carried out, the result obtained as follows (a) There was an effect of learning the story telling method on children’s speaking ability with acquisition of the pretest score after being given the method treatment in the average 50,78 and post test 62,79 in which averagel valve of the overall subject in Al Mulk’s class score was 12,0. (b) There was an effect of learning the role playing method on children’s speaking ability with acquisition of pretest scores after being given the role playing method treatment in the over lall average score of subjects in Ar Rahman’s class, it can be seen that the pretest average score was 57,79 so that the comparison the score valve was 7,2, and (c) based oon the increase in the average pretest and post test scrore, it turns out that the story telling method shows much difference compared to the average pretest and post test scores for the class applies the role playing method. While the result of the hypothesis testing of the two methods shows significant result, namely a) The difference between pretest and post test go t a calculated Z valve of -3,517 with p valve ( + Asymp sig 2 tailed): 0,000<0,05 then accept H1 which means there is a significant of significant difference.
