Abstract: Pemanfaatan limbah dengan baik akan meningkatkan penambahan nilai jual energi dan mengurangi pencemaran lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengukur laju aliran massa bahan bakar, menganalisis efesiensi boiler dan mengukur pendapatan dari penggunaan bahan bakar biogas. Penelitian menggunakan direct method. Laju aliran massa bahan bakar fiber 1,083 kg/detik cangkang 0,583 kg/detik dan biogas 0,044 kg/detik. Nilai kalor bahan bakar yaitu fiber 10.207 kJ/kg dan cangkang 15.885 kJ/kg dan nilai kalor biogas 50.100 kJ/kg. Jumlah energi uap yang dihasilkan yaitu 14.661 kW dengan perbandingan energi pada bahan bakar yang masuk 19.325 kW. Maka efesiensi boiler yang di dapat yaitu 75,87%. Dari penggunaan bahan bakar alternatif biogas menghasilkan pendapatan dengan nilai perbandingan pendapatan tanpa menggunakan biogas yaitu Rp 3.339.725,-/hari kemudian dengan menggunakan biogas pendapatan tertinggi yaitu Rp 10.862.616,-/hari. Utilization of waste properly will increase the sale value of energy and reduce environmental pollution. The research objectives are to measure the mass flow rate of fuel, analyze boiler efficiency and measure income from the use of biogas fuel. This research uses direct method. The mass flow rate of fiber fuel is 1.083 kg/second, shell is 0.583 kg/second and biogas is 0.044 kg/second. The calorific value of the fuel is fiber 10,207 kJ/kg and shell 15,885 kJ/kg and the calorific value of biogas is 50,100 kJ/kg. The amount of steam energy produced is 14,661 kW with a comparison of the energy in the incoming fuel 19,325 kW. Then the boiler efficiency that can be obtained is 75.87%. From the use of alternative fuels, biogas generates income with a comparative value of income without using biogas, which is Rp. 3,339,725,-/day then using biogas, the highest income is Rp. 10,862,616,-/day.
