Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L) terhadap pemberian urin kelinci dan kompos kandang ayam, yang dilaksanakan dikebun percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Medan Area (UMA), yang berlokasi di jalan Kolam No 1 Medan Estate , Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dimulai dari bulan Desember 2021 sampai dengan bulan Maret 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan dua faktor perlakuan, yaitu: 1.) Faktor perlakuan urin kelinci yang terdiri 4 taraf, dan 2.) Faktor perlakuan kompos kandang ayam yang terdiri 4 taraf. Masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak 2 kali. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini, yakni : tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah daun per rumpun tanaman sampel (helai), berat basah umbi per rumpun tanaman sampel (g), berat basah umbi per plot (g), berat kering umbi per rumpun tanaman sampel (g), berat kering umbi per plot (g). Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini, yakni: 1.)Perlakuan urin kelinci berpengaruh sangat nyata pada parameter tinggi tanaman, berat basah umbi per rumpun tanaman sampel, berat basah per plot, berat kering umbi per rumpun tanaman sampel, berat kering umbi per plot. Dan tidak berpengaruh nyata pada parameter jumlah daun per rumpun tanaman sampel. 2.) Perlakuan kompos kandang ayam berpengaruh nyata pada parameter berat basah umbi per plot dan tidak berpengaruh nyata pada parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun daun per rumpun tanaman sampel, berat basah per rumpun tanaman sampel, dan berat kering per plot. 3.) Perlakuan kombinasi urin kelinci dan kompos kandang ayam berpengaruh nyata pada parameter berat basah umbi per plot dan tidak berpengaruh nyata pada parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah bdaun per rumpun tanaman sampel, berat basah per rumpun tanaman sampel, berat kering per rumpun tanaman sampel, berat kering per plot. This study aims to determine the response of the growth and production of shallot (Allium ascalonicum L) to the administration of rabbit urine and chicken coop compost, which was carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Medan Area (UMA), which is located on Jalan Pond No. 1 Medan Estate, District Percut Sei Sir. This research was carried out starting from December 2021 to March 2022. This study used a factorial randomized block design (RAK) with two treatment factors, namely: 1.) rabbit urine treatment factor consisting of 4 levels, and 2.) chicken coop compost treatment factor consisting of 4 levels. Each treatment was repeated 2 times. The parameters observed in this study were: plant height (cm), number of leaves per sample clump (strands), wet weight of tubers per cluster of sample plants (g), wet weight of tubers per plot (g), dry weight of tubers per clump. sample plants (g), tuber dry weight per plot (g). The results obtained from this study were: 1.) Treatment of rabbit urine had a very significant effect on the parameters of plant height, wet weight of tubers per cluster of sample plants, wet weight per plot, dry weight of tubers per cluster of sample plants, dry weight of tubers per plot. And it had no significant effect on the number of leaves per clump of sample plants. 2.) Treatment of chicken coop compost had a significant effect on the parameters of wet weight of tubers per plot and no significant effect on parameters of plant height, number of leaves per cluster of sample plants, wet weight per cluster of sample plants, and dry weight per plot. 3.) The combination treatment of rabbit urine and chicken coop compost had a significant effect on the parameters of wet weight of tubers per plot and had no significant effect on parameters of plant height, number of leaves per plant clump sampled, wet weight per plant clump sampled, dry weight per plant clump sampled, dry weight per plot.
