This study aims to see the effect of job demands on work engagement in employees PT. Alamjaya Wirasentosa Tanjung Morawa. The population in this study was all permanent employees of the salesman section at PT. Alamjaya Wirasentosa Tanjung Morawa, which has a total of 35 people, with a sampling technique using a nonprobability sampling technique, namely the total sampling technique. The results of a simple linear regression data analysis showed a influence between job demands and work engagement where rxy = 0.991 with P = 0.000 < 0.005. This research proves that job demands contribute to work engagement by 98.3%. It is obtained from r2 = 0.983. Based on the results of the empirical and hypothetical mean scores, it can be concluded that the job demands received are classified as very high with a hypothetical mean of 50 and an empirical 60.51 and their work engagement is classified as very high with a hypothetical mean of 75 and an empirical mean of 90.43. This means that the hypothesis proposed is accepted.
