dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara kontrol diri dengan perilaku agresif pada remaja di Kelurahan Padang Bulan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan sebanyak 100 orang remaja yang berusia 12-14 tahun. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini teknik Simple Random Sampling. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu ada hubungan negatif antara kontrol diri dengan perilaku agresif remaja dengan asumsi semakin tinggi kontrol diri maka semakin rendah perilaku agresif. Sebaliknya, semakin rendah kontrol diri maka semakin tinggi perilaku agresif. Penelitian ini menggunakan skala Likert untuk mengukur variabel kontrol diri dan perilaku agresif. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisa data Korelasi Pearson Product Moment dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 25.00. Berdasarkan hasil analisa data yang dilakukan diperoleh hasil yang menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan negatif antara kontrol diri dengan perilaku agresif dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar -0,672 (rxy = -0.672; P = 0,000). Kontrol diri memberikan pengaruh sebesar 45,1% terhadap perilaku agresif. Sedangkan 54,9% sisa dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain seperti faktor kemarahan dan permusuhan, iritabilitas, kerentanan emosional, gaya atribusi permusuhan dan pengambilan perspektif, harga diri, dan pengaruh sosial. Berdasarkan hasil analisa deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa tingkat perilaku agresif remaja di Kelurahan Padang Bulan tergolong tinggi. Sedangkan kontrol diri remaja di Kelurahan Padang Bulan tergolong rendah. This study aims to see the correlation between self-control and aggressive behavior in adolescents in Padang Bulan Village. The method used in this research is quantitative method. The research subjects used were 100 adolescents aged 12-14 years. The sampling technique used in this research is the Simple Random Sampling technique. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a negative correlation between self-control and adolescent aggressive behavior with the assumption that the higher the self-control, the lower the aggressive behavior. Conversely, the lower the self-control, the higher the aggressive behavior. This study uses a Likert scale to measure the variables of self-control and aggressive behavior. In this study, the data analysis technique used is the Pearson Product Moment Correlation using the SPSS version 25.00 application. Based on the results of the analysis of the data obtained, it shows that there is a negative correlation between self-control and aggressive behavior with a correlation coefficient of -0.672 (rxy = -0.672; P = 0.000). Self-control has an effect of 45.1% on aggressive behavior. While the remaining 54.9% is influenced by other factors such as risk factors and hostility, irritability, emotional vulnerability, aversive attribution style and perspective taking, self-esteem, and social influence. Based on descriptive analysis, it shows that the level of aggressive behavior of adolescents in Padang Bulan Village is high. Meanwhile, adolescent self-control in Padang Bulan Village is relatively low.en_US
