Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat coping stress ibu dalam menghadapi pembelajaran jarak jauh di MIN 3 Kota Medan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan mengambil sampel sebanyak 30 ibu dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 301 ibu. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan aspek coping stress. Skala coping stress berjumlah 74 item valid (34 item). Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Anaslisis data menggunakan uji analysis factor. Hasil penelitian menujukkan emotional focused coping yang sering digunakan responden yaitu 0,880. Berbagai coping stress yang digunakan para ibu untuk mengatasi stress pada aspek emotional focused coping meliputi religiusitas, melakukan aktivitas, memindahkan tanggung jawab, mencari dukungan social dari orang lain, menentukan prioritas, melupakan masalah. Hasil penelitian problem focused coping yaitu 0.838. Berbagai coping stress ibu untuk menyelesaikan masalah pada aspek problem focused coping meliputi meminta bantuan langsung kepada professional, membuat perencanaan, dan menyelesaikan masalah secara konkrit. Dari ke 6 indikator aspek emotional focused coping yaitu positive reappraisal (0.845) dimana orang tua berfikir secara positif mengenai permasalahan yang sedang mereka hadapi, dan mendengar ceramah, dan mendekatkan diri kepada tuhan, atau bersifat religious, sedangkan indicator yang paling kecil yaitu distancing (0,302) orang tua memberikan penjelasan yang mendasar kepada anak. Sedangkan dari ke 3 indikator aspek problem focused coping yaitu seeking informasional support (0.741) ibu meminta bantuan kepada guru, sedangkan indicator terendah yaitu confrontive coping (0.137) ibu menyerahkan pembelajaran daring kepada anak. This study aims to look at maternal stress coping in dealing with distance learning at MIN 3 Medan City.This study is a study by taking a sample of 30 mothers with a total population of 301 mothers. Methods of data collection by using aspects of coping with stress.The stress coping scale is 74 valid items (34 items). The research method uses a quantitative descriptive approach. Data analysis using factor analysis test. The results of the study show that the emotional focused coping that is often used by the respondents is 0.880. Various stress coping methods used by mothers to cope with stress on emotional focused coping aspects include religiosity, doing activities, shifting responsibilities, seeking social support from others, setting priorities, forgetting problems. The results of the problem focused coping research are 0.838. Various maternal stress coping to solve problems in the aspect of problem focused coping include asking for help directly to professionals, making plans, and solving problems concretely. Of the 6 indicators of emotional focused coping, namely positive reappraisal (0.845) where parents think positively about the problems they are facing, and listen to lectures, and get closer to God, or are religious, while the smallest indicator is distancing (0.302) parents provide basic explanations to children. Meanwhile, of the 3 indicators of the problem focused coping aspect, namely seeking informational support (0.741) mothers asked for help from the teacher, while the lowest indicator was confrontive coping (0.137) mothers submitted online learning to their children.
