dc.description.abstractPenggunaan pupuk anorganik yang tidak tepat berdampak negatif terhadap lingkungan yang berujung pada penurunan produksi tanaman. Kombinasi pupuk kimia dan bahan organik dalam tanah akan meningkatkan produksi tanaman dan menjaga kesuburan tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai konsentrasi abu sabut kelapa yang dikombinasikan dengan pupuk NPK 16-16-6-4 sebagai pupuk dasar dan pupuk kimia NPK terhadap peningkatan produksi mentimun jepang. dalam penelitian ini adalah rancangan acak kelompok faktorial yang terdiri dari dua faktor yaitu dosis abu sabut kelapa dan pupuk NPK 16-16-6-4. abu sabut kelapa terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan yaitu: A0 = 0 (gram/petak (kontrol), A1 = 100 (gram/petak) dari rekomendasi, A2 = 200 (gram/petak), A3 = 300 (gram/petak). Sedangkan pupuk NPK 16-16-6-4 terdiri dari 3 taraf perlakuan yaitu: N0 = tanpa pupuk NPK, N1 = 20 (gram/petak) N2 = 40 (gram/petak). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan abu sabut kelapa berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot produksi per tanaman dan produksi per petak, namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter lainnya, sedangkan perlakuan pemupukan NPK 16-16-6-4 berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap perlakuan panjang buah, berat buah per contoh, produksi per tanaman, produksi per petak mentimun jepang (Cucumis sativus var japonese). Pengaruh perlakuan abu sabut kelapa dan pupuk NPK 16-16-6-4 tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap parameter lainnya. Inappropriate use of inorganic fertilizers has a negative impact on the environment which lead to a decrease in crop production. The combination of chemical fertilizers and organic matter in the soil will increase crop production and maintain soil fertility. This study aims to determine the effect of various concentration of coconut coir ash combined with NPK 16-16-6-4 fertilizer as basic fertilizer and NPK chemical fertilizer to increase Japanese cucumber production. in this study was factorial randomized block design consisting of two factors, namely the dose of coconut coir ash and NPK 16-16-6-4 fertilizer. coconut coir ash consisted of 4 levels of treatment, namely: A0 = 0 (grams/plot) (control), A1 = 100 (grams/plot) from the recommendation, A2 = 200 (grams/plot), A3 = 300 (grams/plot). While the NPK 16-16-6-4 fertilizer consisted of 3 treatment levels, namely: N0 = without NPK fertilizer, N1 = 20 (grams/plot) N2 = 40 (grams/plot). The results showed coconut coir ash had a significant effect on the weight of production per plant and production per plot, but had no significant effect on other parameters, while the treatment of NPK 16-16-6-4 fertilizer had a very significant effect on the treatment of fruit length, fruit weight per sample, production per plant, production per plot of Japanese cucumber (Cucumis sativus var japonese). The effect of the treatment of coconut coir ash and NPK 16-16-6-4 fertilizer had no significant effect on other parameters.en_US
