Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang hubungan antara locus of control internal dengan pola asuh ototitarian dengan minat baca di SMP Santo Tomas 1 Medan. permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah : 1). adakah hubungan antara locus of control internal dengan minat membaca. 2). adakah hubungan antara pola asuh otoriter dengan minat membaca. 3). adakah hubungan antara locus of control iternal pada pola asuh otoritatian dengan minat membaca. This study aims to determine the relationship between internal locus of control with autotitarian parenting and reading interest at SMP Santo Tomas 1 Medan. The problems in this research are: 1). Is there a relationship between internal locus of control with reading interest. 2). Is there a relationship between authoritarian parenting and reading interest. 3). Is there a relationship between the internal locus of control in authoritative parenting and reading interest.
