dc.description.abstractJalur perlintasan sebidang kereta merupakan perpotongan sebidang antara jalur rel kereta yang dipergunakan untuk melintasnya kereta dengan jalur yang dipergunakan untuk lalu linas kendaraan jalan raya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan tipe rel R33 dengan R54 serta pengaruhnya terhadap kinerja kereta pada jalur perlintasan tepatnya di Medan - Binjai. Dalam penelitian ini, beberapa analisa telah dilakukan, antara lain analisa diameter rel tipe R33 dengan R54. Metode penelitian dilakukan secara kuantitatif melalui pengamatan ukuran diameter dilakukan dengan cara mengambil data di lapangan, perusahaan, serta beberapa referensi dari literatur yang ada dan dilanjutkan dengan menganalisis perhitungan pembebanan dengan beban gandar sebesar 18 ton. Dari gaya vertikal yang bekerja pada masing - masing rel berbeda, diantaranya terjadinya transformasi gaya statik ke gaya dinamik dengan persamaam TALBOT. Pada rel tipe R33 gaya dinamik sebesar 12.465,47 kg/ cm2. Sedangkan pada R54 lebih besar yakni 16.940,30 kg/ cm2. Analisis perhitungan kemudian dilanjutkan dengan analisis faktor reduksi, momen maksimum,dan tegangan ijin rel pada konfigurasi lokomotif BB dan CC pada rel tipe R33 dan R54. Hasil dari tegangan ijin pada tiap rel memenuhi persyaratan dalam peraturan yang ada, akan tetapi dengan batas kecepatan yang berbeda yaitu untuk rel tipe R33 sebesar 70 km/ jam dan R54 120 km/ jam. A railroad crossing line is a plot of intersection between the railroad tracks used for the passage of trains and the lines used for road vehicle traffic. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the different types of rail R33 and R54 and their effect on the performance of the train on the crossing, precisely in Medan - Binjai. In this study, several analyzes have been carried out, including the diameter analysis of the R33 and R54 type rails. The research method was carried out quantitatively by observing the diameter size by taking data in the field, the company, as well as several references from the existing literature and continued by analyzing the calculation of loading with an axle load of 18 tons. From the vertical force acting on each rail is different, including the transformation of static forces into dynamic forces with the TALBOT equation. On the rail type R33 the dynamic force is 12,465.47 kg/cm2. While the R54 is bigger, namely 16,940,30 kg/cm2. The calculation analysis is then continued with the analysis of the reduction factor, maximum moment, and allowable rail stress on the BB and CC locomotive configurations on rail types R33 and R54. The results of the allowable stress on each rail meet the requirements in existing regulations, but with different speed limits, namely for rail type R33 of 70 km/hour and R54 of 120 km/hour.en_US
