dc.description.abstractKebutuhan manusia terhadap transportasi angkutan umum semakin meningkat ditandai dengan meningkatnya jumlah pelajar dan mahasiswa Pasaman Barat yang menuntun ilmu di kota medan setiap tahunnya. Maka diperlukannya transportasi yang memadai untuk menunjang kelancaran mobilitas antara kedua provinsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besaran tarif dan biaya operasional kendaraan bus Antar Lintas Sumatera trayek Medan – Pasaman Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dan metode survei. Penelitian dilakukan dengan memaparkan permasalahan kemudian dilakukan pegumpulan data dan dilakukan analisis untuk mendapatkan solusi permasalahan. berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data penelitian maka didapatkan besaran biaya operional kendaraan berjumlah Rp 547.340.568 per tahun dan besaran tarif berjumlah Rp 179.296 per seat sedangkan tarif yang di tetapkan perusahaan sebesar Rp 190.000 per seat. berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dapat disimpulkan besaran tarif yang ditetapkan perusahaan berbeda dengan besaran tarif yang ditetapkan pemerintah melalu Keputusan Mentri Perhubungan Nomor 89 Tahun 2002 yaitu sebesar Rp 10.704 per seat. The human need for public transportation is increasing, marked by the increasing number of West Pasaman students who guide their knowledge in the city of Medan every year. So the need for adequate transportation to support smooth mobility between the two provinces. This study aims to determine the amount of tariffs and operational costs of the inter-Sumatran bus on the Medan - West Pasaman route. The methods used in this research are quantitative methods and survey methods. The research was conducted by describing the problem, then data collection and analysis were carried out to obtain a solution to the problem. . Based on the results of research data processing, the amount of vehicle operating costs is Rp. 547,340,568 per year and the tariff is Rp. 179,296 per seat, while the rate set by the company is Rp. 190,000 per seat. Based on the results of the calculation, it can be concluded that the rate set by the company is different from the rate set by the government through the Minister of Transportation Decree Number 89 of 2002, which is IDR 10,704 per seat.en_US
