Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemahaman petani tentang Indikasi Geografis, penerapan pola budidaya dan pascapanen kopi arabika, karakteristik komoditas mutu kopi arabika, dan karakteristik faktor alamterhadap perencanaan penerapan Indikasi Geografis Kopi Arabika Samosir. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Sampel ditentukan berdasarkan kelompok tani di 5 kecamatan, sebanyak 2 orang dari setiap kelompok, sebanyak 64 orang. Pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial. Variabel pola budidaya dan pasca panen serta variabel Karaktersitik faktor alam berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perencanaan penerapan indikasi geografis kopi arabika Kabupaten Samosir. Pemahaman indikasi geografis, dan karaktersitik komoditas berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap perencanaan penerapan indikasi geografis kopi arabika Kabupaten Samosir. Secara simultan variabel pemahaman indikasi geografis, pola budidaya dan pasca panen, karakteristik komoditas, dan karaktersitik faktor alam berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perencanaan penerapan indikasi geografis kopi arabika Kabupaten Samosir. Nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,647 berarti bahwa pengaruh dari variabel pemahaman indikasi geografis, pola budidaya dan pasca panen,karakteristik komoditas, dan karaktersitik faktor alam terhadap perencanaan penerapan IG kopi arabika Kabupaten Samosir adalah sebesar 64,7%. This research aims to analyze the influence of farmers' understanding of Geographical Indications, the application of arabica coffee cultivation and postharvest patterns, the characteristics of arabica coffee quality commodities, and natural factor characteristics against the planning of the application of the Arabica Coffee Geographical Indication Samosir. This research method uses a quantitative approach with survey methods. The sample was determined based on the farmer group in 5 sub-districts, as many as 2 people from each group, as many as 64 people. Data collection through questionnaires. The data is analyzed using multiple linear regressions. The results showed that partially, variable cultivation and post-harvest patterns, as well as characteristic variables of natural factors, had a sgeographical indicationnificant effect on the planning of the implementation of geographical indication arabica coffee samosir regency. Understanding geographical indication, and the characteristics of commodities has no sgeographical indicationnificant effect on the planning of the implementation of geographical indication arabica coffee Samosir Regency. Simultaneously the variables of understanding geographical indication, cultivation and post-harvest patterns, commodity characteristics, and characteristics of natural factors have a sgeographical indicationnificant effect on the planning of the implementation of geographical indication arabica coffee Samosir Regency. The coefficient of determination of 0.647 means that the influence of geographical indication understanding variables, cultivation, and post-harvest patterns, commodity characteristics, and characteristic natural factors to the planning of the application of geographical indication arabica coffee Samosir Regency is 64.7%.
