Climate change has an influence on rice plants, because rainfed rice plants have a strong dependence on climate elements, especially temperature, rainfall, humidity and sunlight. In connection with this, an analysis of the effect of climate change on productivity and adaptation choices of rainfed rice farmers is carried out in Langkat Regency. The purpose of this study is to analyze the climate variables that have the greatest influence on climate change, analyze the effect of climate change on productivity and evaluate the adaptation options of rainfed rice farmers to climate change in Langkat Regency. The method used in this research is quantitative and qualitative descriptive with primary data sources from Deli Serdang Climatology Station, Langkat Regency Agriculture Service and BPS, while secondary data from questionnaire results. Data analysis uses multiple linear equations that have met the requirements of the classical assumption test. The results showed that there was an increasing trend of temperature, rainfall, humidity and sunlight so that it had a significant effect on productivity in Langkat Regency, with the equation Y=-19022+0.745X1-0.001X2+0.099X3-0.064X4 where the temperature had the most positive effect. significantly. The results of the research on the sample farmers showed that the adaptation of farmers to climate change which was processed using a Likert scale scored 76.87%, including the good category, which has implications for the trend of increasing rice productivity every year.
