Estimasi Potensi Kerugian Berdasarkan Kehilangan Minyak (Losses) pada Air Condensate dan Sludge Separator di PTPN II Pagar Merbau

Abstract

PTPN II Pagar Merbau merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang mengolah kelapa sawit menjadi CPO. PTPN II Pagar Merbau memiiki masalah kehilangan minyak pada stasiun perebusan dan stasiun sludge seprator yang melebihi norma yang telah ditetapkan perusahaan yang akan memberikan dampak kerugian bagi perusahaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui estimasi kerugian dari kehilangan minyak tersebut sehingga perusahaan dapat mengetahui angka kerugian dengan jelas sehingga diharapkan dapat mengontrol angka kerugian.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ekstraksi soxhlet untuk mendapatkan persentase minyak yang hilang. Sampel pada penelitian ini diambil dari stasiun perebusan dan sludge separator yang diambil selama 30 hari. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa rata-rata losses pada air condensate yaitu 0,5162 % dan sludge separator 0,4889% tidak melewati batas norma yang telah ditetapkan oleh pabrik. Akan tetapi ada beberapa hari losses yang melebihi batas norma. Potensi kerugian pada losses di air condensate sebesar Rp. 7.776/bulan dan sludge separator Rp. 4.375/bulan PTPN II Pagar Merbau is one of the companies that process palm oil into CPO. PTPN II Pagar Merbau had a problem with oil loss at the boiling station and sludge separator station which exceeded the norms set by the company and would have a detrimental impact on the company. This study aimed to determine the estimated loss from the lost oil so that the company could know the loss figure clearly and that it was expected to control the loss rate. This study used the Soxhlet extraction method to get the percentage of lost oil. The samples in this study were taken from the boiling station and the sludge separator was taken for 30 days. The results of this study indicated that the average losses in the air condensate were 0.5162% and the sludge separator of 0.4889% did not exceed the norm set by the factory. However, there were several days of losses that exceeded the norm. The potential loss in losses in the air condensate was Rp. 7,776/month and the sludge separator of Rp. 4.375/month.
