Hubungan antara Kecerdasan Emosi dengan Perilaku Seks Bebas pada Remaja di SMK YPK Perguruan Mabar Swasta Nasional

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan membuktikan hubungan antara kecerdasan emosi dengan perilaku seks hehas pada remaja di SMK Perguruan Mabar. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan positif antara kecerdasan emosi dengan perilaku terhadap seks bebas pada remaja di SMK Swasta Perguruan Mabar dengan asumsi semakin tinggi kecerdasan emosi pada remaja maka semakin rendah perilaku seks bebas, sebaliknya bila semakin rendah kecerdasan emosi pada remaja maka semakin tinggi perilaku seks bebas. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Analisis Korelasi Product Moment dengan teknik pengamhilan sample menggunakan Purposive Sampling. Subjek penelitian ini adalah remaja yang memiliki pacar dan bersekolah di SMK Swasta Perguruan Mabar dengan jumlah sampel 80 remaja. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang negatif yang signifikan antara kecerdasan emosi dengan perilaku seks bebas, dimana rxy = - 0,238 ; p < 0,050, artinya semakin tinggi kecerdasan emosi, maka perilaku seks bebas rendah dan semakin rendah kecerdasan emosi maka perilaku seks bebas semakin tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ini, maka hipotesis yang telah diajuukan dalam penelitian ini dinyatakan diterima. Para siswa SMK Swasta Perguruan Mahar-Medan (YPK Mabar) ternyata memiliki kecerdasan emosi yang tergolong normal, sebab nilai rata-rata empirik 1 08,450 selisihnya dengan nilai rata-rata hipotetik I 00 tidak melebihi bilangan SD atau SB sebesar 10,723, sedangkan perilaku seks bebas para siswa tergolong rendah sebab nilai rata-rata empirik 80, 725 selisihnya dengan nilai rata-rata hipotetik 105 melebihi bilangan SD atau SB sebesar 11,214. Based on the results of data analysis shows there is a significant negative relationship between emotional intelligence with free sex behavior, where rxy = - 0.238 ; p < 0.050, it means more tall emotional intelligence, then free sex behavior is lower and lower intelligence emotions, the higher the free sex behavior.
