Hubungan antara Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Psikologis dengan Perilaku Agresif di SMP Perguruan Kebangsaan Medan

Abstract

Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah product moment. Teknik ini digunakan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara variabel bebas dengan variabel terikat (X-Y). Hasil dari penelitian diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif yang sangat siginifikan antara pemenuhan kebutuhan psikologis dengan perilaku agresif. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan koefisien korelasi rxy= -0,383; p < 0,010. Nilai p yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah p = 0,000. Ini berarti bahwa semakin tinggi pemenuhan kebutuhan psikologis, maka semakin rendah perilaku agresif dan sebaliknya semakin rendah pemenuhan kebutuhan psikologis maka semakin tinggi perilaku agresif. Dengan demikian maka hipotesis yang telah diajukan dalam penelitian ini, dinyatakan diterima. Secara umum para siswa/ siswi SMP Swasta Perguruan Kebangsaan Medan memiliki kebutuhan psikologis yang sangat tinggi, sebab nilai rata-rata empirik yang diperoleh yaitu 189, 1750 lebih besar dari nilai rata-rata hipotetik yaitu 135 dengan selisih yang melebihi nilai SD atau SB yang besarnya 28,757. Selanjutnya untuk variabel perilaku agresif, diketahui bahwa para siswa/siswi SMP Swasta Perguruan Kebangsaan Medan memiliki perilaku agresif yang tergolong sangat tinggi, empirik yang diperoleh yaitu 218,2750 lebih besar dari nilai rata-rata hipotetik yaitu 140 dengan selisih yang melebihi nilai SD atau SB 34,185. In general, the students of the Medan National Private Junior High School have very high psychological needs, because the average empirical value obtained is 189, 1750 is greater than the hypothetical average value of 135 with a difference that exceeds the value of SD or SB which is 28,757.
