Abstract: Dengan gambaran hasil penelitian yang telah didapatkan di atas, terlihat bahwa kecerdasan emosi yang dimiliki individu sangat berperan dalam kemampuan memecahkan masalah, individu yang mampu menunjukkan kecerdasan emosi yang tinggi, terlebih-lebih dalam penelitian ini dimana yang menjadi subjek penelitian adalah para karyawan surveyor, akan memiliki pengaruh yang sangat berarti bagi kemampuan memecahkan masalah. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan Metode Analisis Korelasi Product Moment, diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kecerdasan emosi dengan kemampuan memecahkan masalah, dimana rxy = 0,368 ; p= 0.007 < 0,010. Artinya semakin tinggi kecerdasan emosi maka semakin tinggi kemampuan memecahkan masalah. Koefisien determinan (r2) dari hubungan antara variabel bebas X dengan variabel terikat Y adalah sebesar r2 = 0,135. Ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan memecahkan masalah dibentuk oleh tingginya kecerdasan emosi sebesar 13,50 %. Dimana variabel X-Y koefisien (rxy) 0.368, koefisien determinan (r2) 0.135, P 0.007, BE% 13.50. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan yang telah dilakukan mengenai mean hipotetik dan mean empirik, maka diketahui bahwa subjek penelitian mempunyai kecerdasan emosi yang tinggi dimana mean hipotetik 102,50 dan mean empirik 141,088. Kemudian untuk variabel kemampuan memecahkan masalah mean hipotetiknya ini tergolong tinggi dimana mean hipotetik 10,50. dan mean empirik 19.644. With an overview of the research results that have been obtained in above, look that the emotional intelligence of the individual plays a very important role in problem-solving skills, individuals who are able to demonstrate high emotional intelligence, especially in this study where which be the subject of research are surveyor employees, will have a very significant influence on the ability to solve problems. Based on the results of the analysis with the Correlation Analysis Method Product Moments, It is known that there is a significant positive relationship between emotional intelligence and the ability to solve problems, where rxy = 0.368 ; p= 0.007 < 0.010. This means that the higher the emotional intelligence, the more tall problem solving skills. The coefficient of determinant (r2) of the relationship between the independent variables X with the dependent variable Y is equal to r2 = 0.135. This shows that increased problem-solving skills are shaped by high intelligence emotions by 13.50%. Where the variable X-Y coefficient (rxy) is 0.368, coefficient determinant (r2) 0.135, P 0.007, BE% 13.50. Based on the results of calculations that have been carried out regarding mean hypothetical and empirical means, it is known that the research subject have high emotional intelligence where the hypothetical mean is 102.50 and the empirical mean 141,088. Then for the variable problem solving ability mean This hypothetical is classified as high where the hypothetical mean is 10.50. and the empirical mean 19,644.
