Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji Hubungan Antara Citra Diri Dengan Komunikasi Interpersonal Siswa/I SMA Negeri 2 Bukit Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa/I kelas XI dan XII sebanyak 170 siswa/I. Sedangkan sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 51 siswa/i yang diambil dengan tekhnik random sampling. Skala dalam penelitian ini adalah skala komunikasi interpersonal yang disusun dari aspek komunikasi interpersonal menurut Devito (2011) yaitu : Keterbukaan, Empati, Sikap mendukung, Sikap positif, Kesetaraan. Skala dalam penelitian ini adalah skala citra diri yang disusun dari aspek citra diri menurut Grad (2019) yaitu :Kesadaran (Awarness), Tindakan (Action), Penerimaan (Acceptance), Sikap (Attitude). Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan Metode analisis korelasi r Product Moment, diketahui bahwa ada hubungan positif antara citra diri dengan komunikasi interpersonal., dimana rxy =0.716 dengan signifikan p = 0.000 < 0,050. Artinya hipotesis yang diajukan diterima. Diasumsikan semakin baik citra diri maka komunikasi interpersonal semakin tinggi. Sebaliknya, semakin buruk citra diri maka komunikasi interpersonal semakin rendah. Koefisien determinan (r2) dari hubungan antara variabel bebas X dengan variabel terikat Y adalah sebesar r2 = 0.513. Ini menunjukkan bahwa citra diri berkontribusi terhadap komunikasi interpersonal sebesar 51,3%. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan nilai rata-rata hipotetik dan empirik dapat disimpulkan bahwa citra diri tergolong sedang dengan nilai mean hipotetik sebesar 72,5 dan nilai mean empirik sebesar 70,84. Selanjutnya dapat disimpulkan juga bahwa komunikasi interpersonal tergolong sedang dengan nilai hipotetik sebesar 90 dan nilai empirik sebesar 89,24. The purpose of this study is to examine the colleration between self-image and interpersonal communication of students SMA Negeri 2 Bukit in the academic 2020/2021. The population in this study is all students of class XI and XII as much 170 students. The sample of this study was 51 students who were taken by random sampling technique. The scale in this study is an interpersonal communication scale which is compiled from the aspects of interpersonal communication according from Devito (2011), namely: Openness, Empathy, supportive attitude, positive attitude, equality. The scale in this study is a self-image scale composed of aspects of self-image according to Grad (2019), namely: Awarness, Action, Acceptance, Attitude. Based on the results of the analysis with the Product Moment r correlation analysis method, it is known that there is a positive relationship between self-image and interpersonal communication, where rxy = 0.716 with a significant p = 0.000 <0.050. This means that the proposed hypothesis is accepted. It is assumed that the better the self-image, the higher the interpersonal communication. Conversely, the worse the self-image, the lower the interpersonal communication. The determinant coefficient (r2) of the relationship between the independent variable X and the dependent variable Y is equal to r2 = 0.513. This shows that self-image contributes to interpersonal communication by 51.3%. Based on the results of the calculation of the hypothetical and empirical mean values, it can be concluded that the self-image is classified as moderate with a hypothetical mean value of 72.5 and an empirical mean value of 70.84. Furthermore, it can be concluded that interpersonal communication is classified as moderate with a hypothetical value of 90 and an empirical value of 89.24.
