Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran work life balance pada pegawai Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja di Kota Binjai. Work life balance merupakan kemampuan individu untuk menyeimbangan keterlibatan di berbagai peran, baik perannya dalam kehidupan pekerjaan maupun perannya di kehidupan personal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Kuantitatif Deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive Sampling dan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 72 pegawai dengan kriteria pegawai yang bekerja pada Bidang Ketertiban Umum dan Ketenteraman Masyarakat Kota Binjai. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan Skala Likert berdasarkan skala work life balance yang berjumlah 46 aitem pernyataan. Penelitian ini menggunakan f % sebagai metode analisis data serta teknik Cronbach’s Alpha untuk menguji reliabilitas alat ukur dan menghasilkan reliabilitas aitem sebesar 0,904. Berdasarkan analisis data, nilai rata-rata kelima dimensi work life balance menghasilkan persentase sebesar 36% pegawai memiliki work place support, 26% pegawai memiliki work interference with personal life, 18% pegawai memiliki personal life interference with work, 10% pegawai memiliki satisfaction with work life balance serta 10% pula pegawai yang memiliki improved effectiveness at work. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, gambaran work life balance pegawai Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja yang bekerja di Bidang Ketertiban Umum dan Ketenteraman Masyarakat Kota Binjai didominasi oleh dimensi work place support dibandingkan dengan keempat dimensi lainnya. This research aims to determine the description of work-life balance of the Civil Service Police Unit employees in Binjai City. Work-life balance is an individual’s ability to balance the many roles in one’s life, both at work and personal life. This study uses descriptive quantitative approach. The sample collection technique used purposive-sampling and the sample used 72 employees who work in Public Order and Public Peace of Binjai City. The data collection method used Likert Scale based on the work-life balance scale which consists of 46-statement items. This study uses f% as data analysis method and used Cronbach’s-Alpha to test the reliability of measuring instrument which produces item reliability of 0,904. Based on data analysis, the average value of the five dimensions of work-life balance resulted in a percentage of 36% of employees having Work-Place-Support, 26% of employees having Work-Interference-with-Personal-Life, 18% of employees having Personal-Life-Interference-with-Work, and 10% of employees who have Satsfaction-with-Work-Life-Balance and Improved-Effectiveness-at-Work. Based on the study results, the description of the work-life balance of the Civil Service Police Unit employees who working in the Public Order and Public Peace of Binjai City is dominated by the Work-Place-Support dimension compared to the other dimensions.
