Perbedaan Etos Kerja Ditinjau Dari Etnis Batak Dan Etnis Jawa Di Polda Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat adanya perbedaan etos kerja etnis batak d an etnis jawa pada personel polisi di satuan pembinaan masyarakat polda sumatera utara. Jumlah Popilasi dalam penelitian ini dalam Satuan Pembinaan Masyarakat Polda Sumatera Utara dengan jumlah 45 orang, dengan etnis Batak berjumlah 25 orang dan etnis Jawa berjumlah 20 orang. Untuk menentukan jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purvosive sampling yang artinya penentuan sampel dengan pertimbangan tertentu. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan metode skala psikologi dan di peroleh melalui skala likert. Untuk metode analisis data menggunakan uji reabilitas dan validitas dengan bantuan SPSS V.21. Analisis juga menggunakan analisis varian 1 jalur yang terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji asumsi yaitu, uji normalitas sebaran dan uji homogenitas varians. Uji normalitas sebaran dianalisis dengan rumus Kolmogrov dan Smirnov, dimana kriterianya adalah p > 0,050 sebaran dinyatakan normal. Uji homogenitas varians berasal dari sampel homogen dengan kriteria apabila uji beda > 0,050 maka dinyatakan homogen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa etos kerja pada polisi etnis batak tergolong sanggat tinggi, yang dapat dilihat melalui mean hipotetik sebesar (122,5) < mean empirik (176,76) dan selisihnya melebihi SD (4,400). Sedangkan etos kerja pada polisi etnis jawa juga tergolong tinggi yang dapat dilihat dengan mean hipotetik (122,5) > mean empirik (164,55) dan selisih mean ini melebihi SD (17,533). Maka, hipotesis pada perbedaan etos kerja pada polisi etnis batak dan etnis jawa dinyatakan diterima. This study aims to look at the differences in the work ethic of the Batak and Javannese ethnics in police personnel in the community development unit of the North Sumatera Regional Police. The number of population in this study in the community development unit of the North Sumatera Region Police with a total of 45 people, with 25 Batak ethnicities and 20 Jawanese ethnicities. To determine the number of samples in this study using a purposive sampling technique, which means data collection with certain considerations. The data is collection uses a psychological scale method and is obtained through a Likert scale. For data analysis methods using reability and validity tests with the help of SPSS V.21. The analysis also uses one-way analysis of variance, which first tests the assumptions, namely the distribution normality test and the variance homogeneity test. The distribution normality test was analyzed using the Kolmogrov and Smirnov formulas with the criteria p < 0.050, the distribution was declared normal. The homogeneity test of variance comes from a homogeneus sample with the criteria p < 0.050 is declared homogeneous. The result showed that the work ethic of Batak ethnic police was very high, as seen from the hypothetical mean (122.5) < empirical mean (164.55) and this mean difference exceeds the SD (17.533). Thus, the hypothesis about difference in the work ethic of the Batak and Javanese ethnic police is accepted.
