This study aims to see the relationship between self-leadership and work engagement on online motorcycle taxi drivers in the city of Medan. The sample in this study was 150 people, who were online motorcycle taxi drivers (GRAB). In line with the discussion in the theoretical basis, the hypothesis proposed in this study is that there is a relationship between self-leadership and work engagement with online motorcycle taxi drivers. Assuming the higher the self-leadership, the higher the work engagement, and conversely the lower the self-leadership, the lower the work engagement. This study uses a self-leadership scale which consists of 3 aspects, namely a behavior-focused strategy, a natural reward strategy, and a constructive mindset strategy. And the scale of work engagement which consists of 3 aspects, namely enthusiasm, dedication, appreciation. Data was collected using a Likert scale. To test the proposed hypothesis is done by using the technique of incidental sampling. Based on the data analysis conducted, the results obtained that there is a significant relationship between self-leadership and work engagement. This result is known by looking at the value or correlation coefficient between variable X and variable Y with a coefficient of rxy = 0.743 with p = 0.000 <0.05, which means that the proposed hypothesis, namely that there is a relationship between self-leadership and work attachment to online motorcycle taxi drivers, is declared accepted.
