Abstract: Penulangan geser digunakan untuk menahan pembebanan geser yang terjadi pada balok dan mempunyai konsep perhitungan bahwa bagian tulangan sengkang yang berfungsi menahan beban geser adalah bagian pada arah vertikal, sedangkan pada arah horisontal tidak diperhitungkan menahan beban gaya yang terjadi pada balok. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui beban geser maksimal, kuat geser maksimal, dan besar perbedaannya antara jarak sengkang 10 cm, 15 cm dan 20 cm pada balok beton bertulang sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui bahwa pada beban geser maksimal sebesar 18,983 kN pada jarak sengkang 10 cm, 18,4 kN pada jarak sengkang 15 cm dan 17,9 kN pada jarak sengkang 20 cm. Sedangkan kuat geser maksimal sebesar 11.01 kN untuk jarak sengkang 10 cm, 10,427 kN pada jarak sengkang 15cm dan 9.927 pada jarak sengkang 20 cm. Persentase selisih yang terjadi pada beban geser maksimum rata-rata sebesar 3% dan pada kuat geser makmimum rata-rata 5,3%. Shear reinforcement is used to withstand shear loads that occur in the beam and has a calculation concept that the part of the reinforcing bar which functions to withstand shear loads is the part in the vertical direction, while in the horizontal direction it is not considered to withstand the force load that occurs on the beam. This study aims to determine the maximum shear load, maximum shear strength, and the difference between 10 cm, 15 cm and 20 cm stirrup distances in simple reinforced concrete beams. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that the maximum shear load is 18,983 kN at 10 cm stirrup spacing, 18.4 kN at 15 cm stirrup spacing and 17.9 kN at 20 cm stirrup distance. While the maximum shear strength is 11.01 kN for a stirrup distance of 10 cm, 10.427 kN at a stirrup distance of 15cm and 9,927 at a stirrup distance of 20 cm. The percentage difference that occurs in the maximum shear load is 3% on average and at the maximum shear strength is 5.3%.
