Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi putaran mesin pemipil jagung terhadap kapasitas, kerusakan biji jagung, efesiensi pemipilan dan jumlah kotoran pemipilan saat proses pemipilan. Mesin pemipil ini energi listrik digunakan sebagai sumber penggerak mesin pemipil jagung. Alat ini berupa menggunakan penggerak berupa motor listrik tipe dynamo 1 HP dengan kecepatan putaran 1450 rpm. Manfaat penelitian ini dapat memberikan informasih kepada pemerintah, peneliti, dan petani bahwa pengoperasian mesin pemipil jagung terdapat pengaruh kecepatan putaran mesin terhadap kuantitas dan kualitas. Hasil pengujian penelitian dari tiga variasi putaran mesin menunjukan bahwa hsasil kinerja mesin terbaik terdapat perlakuan dengan kecepatan putaran 725 Rpm. Pada perlakuan ini diperoleh waktu operasi, efesiensi pemipil, kapasitas pemipil, kerusakan hasil pipilan, dan jumlah kotoran pemipilan sebesar 50 detik 0,82% , 590,4 kg/jam, 0,002% dan 0,009%. Dapat disimpulkan semakin tinggi putaran poros pemipil semakin tinggi kerusakan hasil pemipilan dan kadar kotoran saat pemipilan. This study aims to determine the effect of variations in the rotation of the corn sheller on the capacity, damage to the corn kernels, the efficiency of shelling and the amount of shelling dirt during the shelling process. This shelling machine electrical energy is used as a source of driving the corn sheller machine. This tool is in the form of using a drive in the form of a 1 HP dynamo type electric motor with a rotation speed of 1450 rpm. The benefit of this research can provide information to the government, researchers, and farmers that the operation of the corn sheller machine has an effect on the engine rotation speed on quantity and quality. The results of research testing from three variations of engine speed show that the best engine performance results are treatment with a rotation speed of 725 Rpm. In this treatment, the operating time, sheller efficiency, shelling capacity, damage to shelled results, and the amount of shelled dirt were 50 seconds 0.82%, 590.4 kg / hour, 0.002% and 0.009%. It can be concluded that the higher the rotation of the shelling shaft, the higher the damage to the results of shelling and the level of dirt during shelling.
