Abstract: Perkembangan bidang penelitian berbasis pengukuran viskositas metode bola jatuh di dalam instansi seperti perguruan tinggi masih terdapat sistem menerapkan cara pengukuran yang manual. Hal ini memiliki kekurangan berkaitan dengan human error saat range waktu antara stopwatch dengan kecepatan tangan dalam menjatuhkan bola. Untuk Mengatasinya dengan membuat Rancang Bangun Viskosimeter Bola Jatuh Bebas Pola Bolak-Balik Berbasis Arduino Uno, dalam sistemnya perangkat Arduino R3 sebagai pengontrol perangkat-perangkat lainnya termasuk Motor Servo yang berperan dalam proses pola bolak-balik. Dimana berhasil bekerja dalam pengukuran fluida (jenis oli MESRAN SAE 40) dengan nilai rata- rata viskositas 0,40 (N/m2.s) dan keakuratan sebesar 62 % yang ditampilkan dalam LCD. The development of research fields based on the measurement of the viscosity of the falling ball method in institutions such as universities, there are still systems that apply manual measurement methods. This has shortcomings related to human error during the time range between the stopwatch and the speed of the hand in dropping the ball. To overcome this by making the design of the Arduino Uno-based back and forth ball viscosimeter, in its system the Arduino R3 device controls other devices including the Servo Motor which plays a role in the back and forth pattern process. Where it works in fluid measurement (oil type MESRAN SAE 40) with an average viscosity value of 0.40 (N / m2.s) and an accuracy of 62% which is displayed on the LCD.
