Abstract: Pembangunan jalan tol Tebing Tinggi – Inderapura merupakan seksi 1 pembangunan jalan tol Kuala Tanjung – Tebing Tinggi – Parapat dengan panjang (20,40 km) nantinya pekerjaan jalan tol akan mendorong kapasitas angkutan barang laut di pelabuhan kuala tanjung dan kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) Sei Mangkei serta mendukung transportasi bebas hambatan ke objek wisata Danau Toba yang merupakan Kawasan Strategis Pariwisata Nasional (KSPN). Pelaksanaan suatu proyek, alat berat memegang peranan penting karena dapat mempermudah dan membantu pekerja dalam menyelesaikan proyek terutama untuk proyek skala besar. Alat berat yang akan digunakan pada suatu proyek harus dianalisa untuk optimalisasi waktu dan biaya pelaksanaan proyek agar peralatan dapat beroperasi secara efektif dan efisien, sehingga studi ini dimaksudkan untuk menganalisa produktivitas alat berat dengan menggunakan teori produktivitas alat berat, menghitung kapasitas produktivitas setiap alat berat agar diperoleh nilai produktivitasnya dan alokasi kebutuhan alat berat yang diperlukan pada proyek yang di tinjau. Hasil perhitungan, diperoleh produktivitas masing-masing alat berat excavator 74 m3/jam, dump truck 12 m3/jam, motor grader 111 m3/jam, vibration roller 137,4 m3/jam. Maka didapat kebutuhan masing-masing, excavator 3 unit, dump truck sebanyak 19 unit, motor grader 2 unit, vibration roller 2 unit sedangkan pada pihak kontraktor excavator 4 unit, dump truck sebanyak 30 unit, motor grader 3 unit, vibration roller 3 unit. Perhitungan produksi alat berat dengan mengambil dua alternatif. Hasil perolehan biaya optimum yang di perlukan untuk menyelesaikan pekerjaan proyek jalan tol tebing tinggi – inderapura seksi 1 didapatkan pada alternatif kedua yaitu alternatif 2 lebih efisien, karena dapat menghemat biaya sewa alat sebesar 23% dengan selisih sebesar Rp. 3.856.060.000,00 The construction of the Tebing Tinggi – Inderapura toll road is section 1 of the construction of the Kuala Tanjung – Tebing Tinggi – Parapat toll road with a length of (20.40 km). In the implementation of a project, heavy equipment plays an important role because it can facilitate and assist workers in completing projects, especially for large-scale projects. Heavy equipment that will be used in a project must be analyzed to optimize the time and cost of project implementation so that the equipment can operate effectively and efficiently, so this study is intended to analyze the productivity of heavy equipment using heavy equipment productivity theory, calculate the productivity capacity of each heavy equipment in order to obtain the value of productivity and the allocation of heavy equipment requirements needed on the project under review. The calculation results, obtained the productivity of each heavy equipment excavator 74 m3/hour, dump truck 12 m3/hour, motor grader 111 m3/hour, vibration roller 137.4 m3/hour. Then the needs of each are obtained, 3 units of excavator,19 units of dump truck, 2 units of motor grader, 2 units of vibration roller, while on the contractor side there are 4 excavators, 30 units of dump truck, 3 units of motor grader, and 3 units of vibration roller. Calculation of production of heavy equipment by taking two alternatives. The results of obtaining the optimum cost needed to complete the work of the Cliff High - Indrapura section 1 toll road project were obtained in the second alternative, namely alternative 2 which is more efficient, because it can save equipment rental costs by 23% with a difference of Rp. 3.856.060.000,00
