Abstract: Toba Samosir, Provinsi Sumatera Utara yang melayani penerbangan domestic dan dikelola oleh Kementrian Perhubungan. Sejak awal beroperasi Bandar udara ini hanya melayani jenis pesawat ringan yaitu jenis pesawat susi air. Diperkirakan Bandar udara ini akan mengalami peningkatan dimasa yang akan datang. Oleh sebab itu, perlu dilakukan peningkatan fasilitas Bandar udara seperti landasan pacu (runway). Landasan pacu merupakan daerah persegi panjang yang ditentukan pada bandar udara di daratan atau perairan yang dipergunakan untuk pendaratan dan lepas landas pesawat. Jenis perkerasan yang digunakan adalah perkerasan lentur dan perkerasan kaku. Direncakan landasan pacu ini akan melayani jenis pesawat ATR 72-600. Karena bandar udara ini hanya melayani satu jenis pesawat maka perhitungan tebal perkerasannya dilakukan dengan 2 cara, yaitu dengan cara menggunakan rumus perhitugan yang telah ditentukan oleh FAA dan cara penaksiran (hasil asumsi penulis). Untuk hasil perhitungan tebal perkerasan landasan yang dilakukan dengan cara menggunakan rumus didapat sebesar 19 inch (48,26 cm) ,dan hasil tebal perkerasan landasan yang dilakukan dengan cara penaksiran (asumsi) didapata sebesar 19 inch (48,26 cm). Dan nilai ARFL untuk jenis pesawat atr 72-600 sebesar 1290 m, sehingga perlu adanya peningkatan landasan pacu Bandara seperti penambahan ukuran, penempatan untuk marka, dan fasilitas-fasilitas pendukung lainnya agar sesuai dengan Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI). Sibisa Airport is an airport located in Parapat City, Toba Samosir Regency, North Sumatra Province which serves domestic flights and is managed by the Ministry of Transportation. Since the beginning of its operation, the airport has only served light aircraft, namely Susi Air aircraft. It is estimated that this airport will experience an increase in the future. Therefore, it is necessary to increase airport facilities such as runways. Runway is a rectangular area defined at an airport on land or water that is used for aircraft landing and take-off. The type of pavement used for the foundation is flexible pavement and rigid pavement. It is planned that this runway will serve ATR 72-600 aircraft. Because the airport only serves one type of aircraft, the thicjness calculation of the pavement is done 2 ways, namely by using the calculation fotmula that has been determined by the FAA and the estimation method (the author’s assumption) For the results of calculating the thickness of the foundation pavement using the formula, it is found that it is 19 inches (48,26 cm), while the results of the thickness of the base pavement performed by estimation (assumption) were obtained at 19 inch (48,26 cm). And the ARFL value for the type of aircraft atr 72- 600 is 1290 m, so it is necessary to increase the airport runway such as increasing the size, placement for markers, and other supporting facilities to comply with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI).
