Abstract: This study aims to empirically examine the effect of work discipline and education on the performance of official Kelurahan Kwala Bekala Medan Johor. This type of research is associative causal. The population and sample of this study is official Kelurahan Kwala Bekala Medan Johor as much 55 people. The types of data used quantitatively and qualitatively as well as sources of data come from primary data and secondary data. The data analysis technique used is statistical analysis with multiple regression models, with hypothesis testing namely test-f and test-t. The results showed that simultaneously (Y) and partial variables (X1) namely work discipline had a positive effect on official performance, while Education (X2) has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance The predictive ability of both independent variables on Employee Performance based on the test of the coefficient of determination (R2) is 45.3% while the remaining 54.7% is influenced by other factors not included in the research model.
Description: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh disiplin kerja dan pendidikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Kelurahan Kwala Bekala Medan Johor. Jenis penelitian ini adalah asosiatif kausal. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini adalah Pegawai Kelurahan Kwala Bekala Medan Johor sebanyak 55 orang. Jenis data yang digunakan kuantitatif dan kualitatif serta sumber data berasal dari data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis satatistik dengan model regresi berganda, dengan uji hipotesis yaitu uji-f dan Uji-t Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan (Y) dan parsial variabel (X1) yaitu disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja pegawai, sedangkan Pendidikan (X2) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja Pegawai Kemampuan prediksi dari kedua variabel independen tersebut terhadap kinerja Pegawai berdasarkan uji koefisien determinasi (R2)sebesar 45,3% sedangkan sisanya sebesar 54,7 % dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak dimasukkan ke dalam model penelitian.
