dc.descriptionPada umumnya proses pencucian kerang sangat sulit dan membutuhan waktu yang lama dan juga membutuhkan banayak air adanya persolan susahnya mencuci kerang pada pengusaha – pengusaha rumah makan sefood, Mahasiswa Universitas Medan Area dituntut untuk membuat mesin pencuci kerang. Mesin pencuci kerang yang berada pada Laboraturium Universitas Medan Area belum pernah dianalisa dan diuji coba. Berdasarkan uraian di atas penulis tertarik menganalisa unjuk kerja mesin pencuci kerang kapasitas 10kg / 3 menit sistem rotary washing. Analiasa ini untuk mengetahui permasalahan berapakah putaran maksimal mesin, jumlah air, dan tekana air. Dari hasil analisa unjuk kerja mesin pencuci kerang yang dilakukan penulis, diperoleh bahwa tekanan sebesar 745.5 Kpa dan menghabisakan air 135 liter waktu proses pencucian selama 3 menit, dengan kecepatan putaran motor 3387 Rpm sehingga memperoleh hasil kerang yang bersih.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe process of clam washer machine is generally hard and took a long time. Then, numerous of water are necessary and become a problem for the most of seafood restaurant merchants to wash the clams. The clam washer machine at the Universitas Medan Area laboratory has never been analysed and tested before. Hence, the study aims to analyse the clam washer machine performance with the capacity of 10 kg / 3 minutes, rotary washing system. The analysis is conducted to discover the maximum rotation of machine, water amount, and water pressure. The result shows that the pressure is at 745.5 Kpa and consumes as much as 135 litre of water through 3 minutes of washing process, with the motor rotating speed is 3387 Rpm to get clean clams.en_US
