Abstract: This research aims to: Know the influence of group guidance on the social skills of students. Know the effect of self-efficacy on students' social skills. Know the interaction between group guidance and self-efficacy towards students' social skills. This research is a quasi experimental research with 2x2 factorial design. The subjects of this research are students VIII class of SMP Negeri 2 Tanjung Tiram as many as 43 people consisting of two class groups, The first class as the experimental class is applied modeling group guidance and the second class as the control class is applied Homeroom group guidance. The instrument used in this research is a validated and reliable questionnaire. Data were analyzed using two-way ANAVA analysis. From the research results can be concluded that: There is influence of group guidance on social skills of students of SMP Negeri 2 Tanjung Tiram. There is a difference between Modeling and Homeroom in influencing students' social skills. There is no difference between low self-efficacy and high self-efficacy in influencing students' social skills. Modeling group guidance is very well used in improving students' social skills.
Description: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: Mengetahui pengaruh bimbingan kelompok teknik modeling dan homeroom terhadap keterampilan sosial siswa SMP Negeri 2 Tanjung Tiram. Mengetahui pengaruh self-efficacy terhadap keterampilan sosial siswa SMP Negeri 2 Tanjung Tiram. Mengetahui interaksi antara bimbingan kelompok teknik modeling dan homeroom dengan self-efficacy terhadap keterampilan sosial siswa SMP Negeri 2 Tanjung Tiram. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan desain factorial 2x2. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Tanjung Tiram sebanyak 43 orang yang terdiri dari dua kelompok kelas, dimana kelas pertama sebagai kelas eksperimen diterapkan BKP Modeling dan kelas kedua sebagai kelas kontrol diterapkan BKP Homeroom. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kuesioner yang dinyatakan valid dan reliabel. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis ANAVA dua jalur. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: Ada pengaruh bimbingan kelompok (BKP) terhadap keterampilan sosial siswa SMP Negeri 2 Tanjung Tiram. Ada perbedaan antara BKP Modeling dengan BKP Homeroom dalam mempengaruhi keterampilan sosial siswa. Tidak ada perbedaan antara self-eficacy rendah dan self-eficacy tinggi dalam mempengaruhi keterampilan sosial siswa. BKP Modeling sangat baik digunakan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa.
