Abstract

This study aims to look at the factors that influence work stress on the personnel carrying out field duties of the medan city police traffic unit, especially the sub section of the regulation when carrying out their daily duties. The sample in this study was 40 personnel, with a sampling technique Total sampling.Based on the results of the analysis which in this case using descriptive method with the aim of being able to describe each of the dominant factors between environmental, organization and individual factors.Environmental Factors the moderate category is 27 people (67 %), then the high category is 7 people (18 %), and the low category is 6 people (15 %).Organizational Factors the moderate category is 22 people (54 %), then the high category is 10 people (26 %), and the low category is 8 people (20 %).Individual Factors the moderate category is 24 people (60 %), then the high category is 8 people (20 %), and the low category is 8 people (20 %).
