Penilaian Tingkat Kesehatan Bank Dengan Membandingkan Metode Camels dan RGEC Pada PT. Bank Sumut Syariah Cabang Ringroad Medan

Abstract

This study aims to find out and get concrete evidence about the Health Level of the Bank Sumut Syariah Ringroad Branch Medan using the CAMELS and RGEC methods. This research was conducted at PT. Bank Sumut Syariah Ringroad Medan Branch. The type of research in this study is qualitative with a descriptive approach, while those who become informants in this study are the Head of Finance of PT Bank Sumut Syariah Ringroad Medan Branch. Data analysis techniques used in the research are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. In general, there are differences in the results of analysis in 2015 and 2017 from the results of testing the CAMELS and RGEC methods where in 2015 the CAMELS method obtained very healthy results but with the RGEC method achieving healthy predicate and 2017 with the CAMELS method achieving the Very Healthy predicate and the RGEC method achieve Healthy predicate. This happens because the CAMELS method actually provides an effective picture of bank soundness, but the CAMELS method does not provide a conclusion that leads to an assessment. Between factors provide an assessment that can be different in nature. While the RGEC method emphasizes the importance of quality management. Quality management will certainly raise income factors and also capital factors directly or indirectly. Besides that, in the RGEC method there is a ratio of risk profiles consisting of five aspects that can affect the proportion of the predicate value and which are not found in the CAMELS method.
