Evaluasi Kinerja Persimpangan Akibat Adanya Fly Over Jamin Ginting Terhadap Pergerakan Arus Lalu Lintas

Abstract

Vehicle growth levelthat increasing overtime on medan city will caused traffic jam that often occur on a certain hours. Especially in one intersection, so many of the users complain about this .With the Fly Over it is expected that the instrument becomes the default problem of the existing congestion. Fly Over is the completeness of the road to overcome problems and because conflicts are deviated and avoid areas / regions that are always facing the problem of traffic congestion. Performance on the intersection of Street Over Road Guaranteed Ginting has achieved a bad condition as a result of growing growth in increasingly increasing traffic. According to field data has obtained value degree of saturation (DS) = 1,34>0,75, that condition caused average intersection delay in the amount of 305,42 second and service level F (Very Bad). Intersection handling is done by changing Lost Time (LTI) and Green time (g) corresponding to the normal value of inter-green time standard on MKJI intended to shorten cycle time (c). According to simulation result of cycle time (c) =114 second, green time (Σg) = 90 second and lost time = 24 second.Obtained result Ds = 0,76 and delay = 24,73 secondand service level become C (Average).According to the result of simulation counting above then the traffic density start to decreasing and the driver secure enough drive and gain comfort to road user because of shorter cycle time.
