Abstract: A maintenance plan of machine is required in every month for every company. However, PT. PP. London Sumatra Indonesia Turangie Palm Oil Mill still runs the non-scheduled maintenance and not in a comprehensive way. The study aims to conduct a schedule for screw press machine maintenance in order to improve the product quality and decrease the production failure risk. Also, the research aims to giva an aid to decrease the workload while carrying out the routine maintenance. The RCM method includes several phases, namely: Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FEMA), the component replacement interval, the determination of failure consequences, Condition Direct (CD), and Time Direct. Through these phases, the level of failure risk can be decreased. According to the damage frequency as much as 44.86% and the lost work time caused by the machine breakdown as much as 56.12%. RCM also can be utilized to increase the product quality, and prevent or detect the failure or hidden failure at once. Thus, the double failure with a serious consequence can be decreased
Description: Perawatan perencanaan terhadap mesin sangat dibutuhkan dalam setiap bulannya sehingga perusahaan melakukan perawatan mesin secara terjadwal secara teratur Berdasarkan data PT. PP Londonsumatra Indonesia Tbk Turangie Palm Oill Mill. Selalu melakukan perawatan tanpa menyeluruh secara terjadwal. Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan penjadwalan terhadap mesin screw press meningkatkan kualitas produksi dan mengurangi tingkat resiko kegagalan produksi dan membantu secara langsung melakukan pengurangan beban kerja saat perawatan rutin. Tahapan (RCM) Reliability Centered Maintenance meliputi Fault tree anlysis ( FTA ), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), interval pergantian komponen dan Penentuan konsekuensi kegagalan,( CD ) Condition drect dan ( TD ) Time direct sehingga akhirnya dapat menurunkan tingkat resiko kegagalan, berdasarkan frekuensi kerusakan sebesar 44,86% dan jam kerja yg hilang akibat breakdown mesin sebesar 56,12 %. (RCM )Reliability Centered Maintenance juga berguna untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk, sekaligus perawatan yang dialkukan dapat mencegah, mendekteksi kegagalan atau menemukan Hidden Failure. Hal ini dapat mengurangi kemungkinan kegagalan ganda yang memiliki konsekuensi serius
