Title: Pengaruh Pemberian Urin Sapi dan Kotoran Burung Puyuh Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Selada (Lactuca sativaL)

Abstract: Research conducted at the experiment station of Agriculture Faculty of University of Medan Area located on the street No.1 Field Estate, District Percut Sei Tuan with altitude of approximately 25 m above sea level, flat topography and alluvial soil types. This research was conducted from August to September 2015.Metode study is a randomized block design (RAK) factorial, with 2 replications, 16 combinations that can be 32 research plots. The first factor to be tested is the of Cow Urine is U0 = Without of Cow Urine, U1 = 2.5%, U2 = 5%, U3 = 7.5%. The second factor is tested Dirt Quail ie P0 = Without giving puyu bird droppings, P1 = 1 kg / plot, P2 = 2 kg / plot, P3 = 3 kg / plot. The results showed that the treatment effect of of Cow Urine markedly increased growth in the number of leaves at the age of 4 weeks after planting, but no significant effects on growth (plant height, leaf area, wet weight of the harvest, wet weight of the canopy, the dry weight of the canopy, wet weight root and dry weight roots) of lettuce plants (Lactuca sativa L) and quail droppings very real boost growth in the number of leaves at the age of 1 MST and markedly improved growth in the number of leaves at age 2 MST, but no significant effects on growth (plant height, leaf area, fresh weight harvest , canopy wet weight, shoot dry weight, wet weight root, and root dry weight) of plant lettuce (Lactuca sativa L).
Description: Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian Urin Sapi dan Kotoran Burung Puyuh terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman selada ( Lactuca sativa L ). Penelitian dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Medan Area yang berlokasi di jalan Kolam No.1 Medan Estate, Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan dengan ketinggian tempat kira-kira 25 m dari permukaan laut, topografi datar dan jenis tanah alluvial. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai bulan Agustus sampai dengan September 2015. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial, dengan 2 ulangan,16 kombinasi sehingga dapat 32 plot penelitian. Faktor pertama yang diuji adalah Urin Sapi yaitu U0 = Tanpa Urin Sapi, U1 = 2,5%, U2 = 5 %, U3 = 7,5%. Faktor kedua yang diuji adalah Kotoran Burung Puyuh yaitu P0 = Tanpa pemberian Kotoran Burung Puyuh, P1 = 1 kg/plot, P2 = 2 kg/plot, P3 = 3 kg/plot. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh perlakuan Urin Sapi nyata meningkatkan pertumbuhan jumlah daun pada umur 4 MST, tetapi tidak nyata meningkatkan pertumbuhan (tinggi tanaman, luas daun, bobot basah panen, bobot basah tajuk, bobot kering tajuk, bobot basah akar, dan bobot kering akar) tanaman selada (Lactuca sativa L) dan Kotoran Burung Puyuh sangat nyata meningkatkan pertumbuhan jumlah daun pada umur 1 MST dan nyata meningkatkan pertumbuhan jumlah daun pada umur 2 MST, tetapi tidak nyata meningkatkan pertumbuhan (tinggi tanaman, luas daun, bobot basah panen, bobot basah tajuk, bobot kering tajuk, bobot basah akar, dan bobot kering akar) tanaman selada (Lactuca sativa L) dan perlakuan interaksi konsentrasi Urin Sapi dan dosis Kotoran Burung Puyuh tidak nyata meningkatkan semua parameter pengamatan pertumbuhan (tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, luas daun, bobot basah panen, bobot basah tajuk, bobot kering tajuk, bobot basah akar, dan bobot kering akar) tanaman selada (Lactuca sativa L).
