Abstract: This research was conducted at the Deli Tobacco Research Center of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara II, Deli Serdang Regency, with a height of 13 meters above sea level (asl), from 22 July 2019 to 02 October 2019. The design used in this study was a factorial randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 2 treatment factors, namely: (1) mycorrhizae use factor (M notation) with 4 levels of treatment, namely: M0 = Control (without mycorrhizae); M1 = mycorrhizae 5 g/plant; M2 = mycorrhizae 10 g / plant; M3 = mycorrhizae 15 g / plant, (2) Factors of biochar use in rubber seed shells (notation B) with 4 levels of treatment, namely: B0 = Control (without biochar); B1 = Biochar 50 g / plant; B2 = Biochar 100 g / plant; B3 = Biochar 150 g / plant, repeated 2 times. Parameters observed: plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf color, number of branches/ samples, number of branches / plots, type and intensity of pest and disease attacks, number of pods / sample, pod weight / sample, number of pods / plot, weight pod/ plot, seed weight / sample, seed weight / plot, root volume and mycorrhizae colonization. The results of the study: 1) Mycorrhizae application has a very significant effect on the number of leaves aged 4, 5, 6 MST, number of pods per sample, pod weight per sample, number of pods per plot, pod weight per plot, seed weight per sample and seed weight per plot ; significant effect on leaf color age 6 MST, pod weight per plot and root volume, but no significant effect on the intensity of the attack of Ladybug Pests (Riptortus linear), Leaf Rust (Phakopsora pachyrhizi), plant height, stem diameter, leaf color age 2 - 5 MST, number of branches per sample and number of branches per plot. The highest production of 207.89 g / plot (equivalent to 1.72 tons / ha) is obtained by giving mycorrhizae as much as 15 g / plant; 2) Application of biochar kendaga rubber seed shell has a very significant effect on leaf color age of 2 MST and number of pods per plot, significantly affect the number of pods per sample, seed weight per sample and root volume, but does not significantly affect the intensity of Ladybug Pests (Riptortus liniaris), Leaf Rust Disease (Phakopsora pachyrhizi), plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf color, number of branches per sample, number of branches per plot, pod weight per sample, pod weight per plot and seed weight per plot; 3) Interaction between mycorrhizae application with biochar kendaga rubber seed shells does not significantly affect the growth and production of soybean plants and the intensity of pest attack Kepin Pod (Riptortus liniaris), and Leaf Rust Disease (Phakopsora pachyrhizi).
Description: Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Balai Penelitian Tembakau Deli PT. Perkebunan Nusantara II, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, dengan ketinggian 13 meter di atas permukaan laut (dpl), sejak tanggal 22 Juli 2019 s/d 02 Oktober 2019. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor perlakuan, yaitu : (1) Faktor penggunaan mikoriza (notasi M) dengan 4 taraf perlakuan, yakni : M0 = Kontrol (tanpa mikoriza); M1 = Mikoriza 5 g/tanaman; M2 = Mikoriza 10 g/tanaman; M3 = Mikoriza 15 g/tanaman, (2) Faktor penggunaan biochar kendaga cangkang biji karet (notasi B) dengan 4 taraf perlakuan, yakni : B0 = Kontrol (tanpa biochar); B1 = Biochar 50 g/tanaman; B2 = Biochar 100 g/tanaman; B3 = Biochar 150 g/tanaman, diulang 2 kali. Parameter yang diamati : tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah daun, warna daun, jumlah cabang/sampel, jumlah cabang/plot, jenis dan intensitas serangan hama dan penyakit, jumlah polong/sample, bobot polong/sample, jumlah polong/plot, bobot polong/plot, bobot biji/sample, bobot biji/plot, volume akar dan kolonisasi mikoriza. Hasil penelitian : 1) Aplikasi mikoriza berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jumlah daun umur 4, 5, 6 MST, jumlah polong per sampel, bobot polong per sampel, jumlah polong per plot, bobot polong per plot, bobot biji per sampel dan bobot biji per plot; berpengaruh nyata terhadap warna daun umur 6 MST, bobot polong per plot dan volume akar, tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap intensitas serangan hama Kepik Polong (Riptortus liniaris), penyakit Karat Daun (Phakopsora pachyrhizi), tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, warna daun umur 2 – 5 MST, jumlah cabang per sampel dan jumlah cabang per plot. Produksi tertinggi 207,89 g/plot (setara dengan 1,72 ton/ha) diperoleh dengan pemberian mikoriza sebanyak 15 g/tanaman; 2) Aplikasi biochar kendaga cangkang biji karet berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap warna daun umur 2 MST dan jumlah polong per plot, berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah polong per sampel, bobot biji per sampel dan volume akar, tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap intensitas serangan hama Kepik Polong (Riptortus liniaris), penyakit Karat Daun (Phakopsora pachyrhizi), tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah daun, warna daun, jumlah cabang per sampel, jumlah cabang per plot, bobot polong per sampel, bobot polong per plot dan bobot biji per plot; 3) Interaksi antara aplikasi mikoriza dengan biochar kendaga cangkang biji karet tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman kedelai serta intensitas seranga hama Kepin Polong (Riptortus liniaris), dan Penyakit Karat Daun (Phakopsora pachyrhizi).
